Question about Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router
There are several ways to do this. If you are on cable internet just press and hold the reset button in the back of the Linksys router using a pen or something that can push the recessed button and hold it for about 20 seconds. The router will reset but with no security, so you will have to manually reset it.
Using the web browser on a wired computer (a computer that is not connected via WiFi) and type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar. Both the user and password are admin. You can configure the router wireless security and change the SSID (if desired).
If you are on DSL I wouldn't do this as DSL can be quite complicated to configure.

You will need to check the wireless settings of the router.
Is there any computer online using the router.
check the IP address on that computer.
If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer.
router set up page is the page where you can check all the router settings.
