Make sure you have pressed the on / off button for long enough. I have to hold mine in for about 5 seconds before the screen starts. Hope that's all it is, cheers.

SOURCE: W850i red light prob

When it is red light of death, it either means the bootloader of the phone is faulty (after uploading dodgy firmware updates), or the battery is too empty to start-up, let alone display charging progress. In your case you need to leave the phone charging even with the red light flashing and it will be fine. Give it a few hours connected to the charger.

SOURCE: I went swimming and forgot my EnV3 was in my

Hi,
As the mobile is wet the circuit board inside the mobile will be fully wet.Due to this the connections between the circuits get connected(short circuited) and the mobile may behave in such a manner that it should not behave. Never put the wet mobile in charger even though it is dry and working properly. There may be water logs present in the mobile circuit which may be dangerous to the person who is using the mobile. It may lead to electric shock.
Take the mobile to the authorized dealer of your make and they will remove the water log from the mobile circuit board and it will be fine .I recommend you not to do this by yourself.
Thank You

Turned off the tablet, unplugged the charger and kept the tablet off for about 30 minute to one hour, plugged in back the charger, then turn on the tablet. After that I you might see the tablet started charging. Good Luck.

Asus MeMO Pad HD 7 won't turn on or charge.

Ah ASUS. I have a Memo 10. Had the same problem when it was 6 days new. Asus has a UI that is bad.

1. First try to charge via USB to your computer. If you get any result good, leave it a bit.

2. Leave it plugged in and see if it will turn on. If you can get it to turn on ... do this.

3. Find the back up and restore/factory reset. Back up your data, pics, music. etc.

4. Do a factory reset... it will say everything of yours will be delted. Proceed.

5. Restart the tablet.

6. Go into settings and TURN OFF Asus's UI. On my Memo 10, under settings is a menu called "Asus Customized settings" in the sub-menu turn OFF "Use ASUS Quick Setting" yours may say something a bit different.

7. Restart. The look will be different but no worries. On the upper right see if your tablet it charging. It will be a battery with green and black and a lightening bolt in it. If it is charging try your wall wart charger.

Good luck!

Asus Memo Pad HD 7 won't turn on or charge.

1. how old is your tablet 2. have you tried another charger such as a phone charger. My blackberry charger works fine for my tablet. Also with your tablet you should have had a usb cable that connected from mini usb to the asus plug in transformer.

Screen locked and alignment wrong

To restart, press and hold the on button on the upper right of the device. Select 'Restart' from pop-up menu.
Not sure if you can recalibrate your screen.
If all else fails, perhaps you can try hard reset:

Try if you can avoid wiping data by selecting option not to wipe.

Tablet will not charge or come on.

I did this with my Asus memo pad 7 HD and it worked. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXcQgpISSi8
The difference is only in removing the back cover. Use your nails to pop the cover to prevent damage. Do not use knife. Unplug the battery for 15 minutes than plug back in and pop the rear cover back on. After plugging the charger you should have the battery symbol on the screen. Then leave on the charger until fully charged.

My asus memo 7 inch tablet won't power up

This is a common problem with Asus devices. If the battery has drained completely, they don't like to come back to life.

Plug it in and leave it for a minute or so. Unplug the device, replug it, and hit the power button. The battery logo should appear, indicating that the device is powered off and connected to a charger. Now that the computer is awake (to display the message), hold the power button until the device powers up. You may have to hold the button down for up to 45 seconds.

Black Screen no battery picture

If you are having this problem with the tablet, but the charger works fine with the cellphone, then mKe sure that you are using the right charger for the tablet, or it could be that the charging port in the tablet is damage, or the battery needs to be replace.
