Question about Logitech MX 600 097855036162

Buttons randomly going hay-wire

I just installed my MX 600 mouse and the latest drivers as of 4 days ago, and randomly, while playing Morrowind my buttons go haywire. As if I am quickly cycling the mouse wheel, while pressing back/forward while hitting the zoom keys all at once. I've tried just closing Morrowind, however the mouse still has the same issues on a webpage. It will scroll down the page, and zoom in at a fast rate of speed, luckily I rebound back and forward to page up/page down so I don't freeze my browser by cycling the pages as well.

Any ideas?

Re: buttons randomly going hay-wire

Normal 0 Go to Control Panel and click on the Mouse icon. When the window opens showing the mouse, select the button you want to change and click on the drop down and set as desired.
Hope this helps. Bud

Can not get cordless MX300 Mouse working, press reconnect button and changed the batteries

For some reason, it's always the mouse and not the keyboard that have these issues. If you can use a wired mouse, try looking at the Device Manager and see if it shows the mouse working okay. If you see a yellow exclamation point, I'd suggest reinstall or update the drivers. Get the latest ones from the maker's website. You may want to do this anyway to eliminate the possibility. If you can't do this, try using the mouse and keyboard on another computer if possible to see if it works at all.

Hpdv9000 laptop mouse wont work

Check if you have installed the latest drivers...
For the touchpad, you should be able to find them on the hp support site
For external mouse, there should be drivers on the manufacturers site or the driver disk that came along with it.

Is it the touchpad that doesn't work, or is it an external mouse?

Erratic Logitech cordless optical mouse

ive had the mx700 for two years and im very comfortable with it.
I think you problem lies not with the mouse or the driver, but rather the mousepad.
Since the mx700 is not a lasermouse, but "only" optical, it still needs a decent pad to work flawlessly.
Ive had problems with these kind of mice using blank paper, magazines or tablesurfaces.
Try to get a real mousepad from somewhere (should be really cheap), that should do the trick =)

I upgradet to a razer diamondback later which is a laser mouse (1600dpi, while optical mice (with the red light) have 800dpi). Some ppl say that this is too much, and not needed (you can get even higher specs =) but i felt a world of difference, it just works everywhere! (except for mirrors and glas =)
