I need to control the access on the internet how do i do this and manage my BT Hub

If by control access on internet in other accounts you could set up parental control and modify settings with time frames when can someone access certain programs. functions are limited in parental control accounts. If BT is refer to Bitorrent - usually BT software on preference or options have the option to allocate bandwidth usually set on "0" which is unlimited - if you set for ex 250 - your limiting your download or upload to 250 kb./s

Check ALL cables/splitters/connections and reseat. Contact your ISP have them verify the signal. Have a ISP tech come out to analize the signal. It may be outside ISP equipment. It's happened to me on occasion.

I have windows 7 home prem and cannot connect says detects strong signal but limited access

Most likely, the access point is not connected to an internet gateway whatever that is at your place.
and since access points does not provide DHCP service by default (handing out IP information to connected clients), you get the limited access message.
In short, make sure the access point is connected to the router because the router is the once responsible for providing the DHCP service.
