Like so many of you my paperjam warning is constantly flashing, though mine might be easier to solve.
Every time I send a print job to the printer, it'll start to load the paper but then jam. Pulling the paper tray shows that the printer has taken up a sheet but not even far enough to hold onto, as it is very easily pulled free with practicaly no pressure.
Manualy feeding into the dropdown feed in the front works just fine, but it flat refuses to pick up from the tray.
Any ideas how to solve this would be greatly appreciated, as I print a lot of B/W stuff, and cant really afford to replace my printer. I also have 2 spare toners for it.
I've tried scorring the center rubber drum that seems to take up the paper to give it more grip, but its made no difference at all that I can see.
Acording your explained you need do
1) clean the input tray roller surface, to make sure it has enough grip force.
2) looking for a sensor around the roller rear, it could be cause the paper jam there, because if the sensor does not detect any input paper go throug there then should be stoped at roller rear.
3) if you find a optical sensor there, please use a slft cotton stick to clean its surface. (maybe open some cover needed)
hope you fix it , ask me any time please!

I've had the printer for about 5 years now, but it started doing this about 2 years ago and its been shelved for most of the time since.
Use-wise, I've gotten through the original toner with it, and maybe half of a replacement, so call it 3500-4000 pages maybe
how long you using from purchased?
