Straight up- I do not understand myself nor know how to fix your headphones retractable cord. I however instead of skipping your question chose to give you some informational insight or clues on how to gather your answer.

I have seen that no one has posted to help you as of yet so I figured giving some information on how to find your answer is best rather than to ignore your question. Here are some things that you could type into search engines which will directly take you to either or both reading and video tutorials, which will tell you how to take the headphones apart to fix their cord and or will actually show you the steps to take to fix them.

I am assuming that your question wasn't answered either because no one knew how to fix them or that because they don't know how to fix them they assumed not to make any suggestions since maybe they would had felt bad if they were to tell you to do something in which could ruin the headphones. Here is the following suggestions to go by to fix your head phones: I hope this helps:)

A. Search Engine; GOOGLE.. Search " JVC Ha-nc100 headphones needs fixing to retractable cord".
B. BING SEARCH ENGINE: " WATCH MOVIE ON HOW TO REPAIR JVC HA-NC100 HEADPHONES RETRACTABLE CORD."

C. YOUTUBE; CLICK ON VIDEO AFTER LOGGING IN, TYPE IN SEARCH BOX;
" FIX JVC HA-NC100 HEADPHONES RETRACTABLE CORD"

OR TYPE ;

HOW TO FIX JVC HA-NC100 HEADPHONE RETRACTABLE CORD"

D. YAHOO ; IN SEARCH BOX TYPE:

" MY JVC HA-NC100 HEADPHONES RETRACTABLE CORD NEEDS REPAIR"
OR

FOR YAHOO ANSWERS FROM PEOPLE ON YAHOO YOU MAY TYPE;
" HOW DO I FIX JVC HA-NC100 HEADPHONES RETRACTABLE CORD?"

YOU MAY ALSO TRY ;
" WATCH MOVIE ON HOW TO FIX JVC HEADPHONES".

I HAVE SEPERATED BY COLUMNS AND OR USING 'ENTER' FOR WHAT YOU TYPE IN EACH SEARCH ENGINE BOX IN ORDER TO GET LEAD INTO THE RIGHT DIRECTION ON HOW TO FIX YOUR HEADPHONES.
HOWEVER IF NONE OF THIS WORKS FOR YOU OR IF YOU PREFER FOR MY ASSISTANCE TO GET YOU THE LINKS MYSELF SO THAT ALL YOU WOULD HAVE TO DO IS TO CLICK ON THE BLUE LINKS WHICH WILL DIRECTLY TAKE YOU TO THE SITES THEN PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL FURTHER HELP YOU.

I THINK THAT THERE IS AN WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME AND OR TO REPLY BACK TO ME. I HOPE THESE SUGGESTIONS HELP. JUST DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE YOU ALL ON YOUR OWN TRYING TO FIX YOUR ISSUE WITH YOUR HEADPHONES:) HAVE A GOOD DAY/NIGHT.

PEACE SINCERELY,

Bissell momentum canister vacuum retractable electrical cord not retracting

Either the cord inside is caught on something or the retraction spring is broken.
Try to pull it out further, if you can feel any spring-back then most likely the cord is caught, maybe on itself.
Either way, the canister will probably have to be disassembled to fix the problem.

Problem with retractable cord on hand mixer

Hi Sandy

Retractable cord mechanisms, after a while, can get a bit dodgy, especially with things like mixers where there may have been years of accumulated batter, frosting, bread dough, or what have you that got splattered on the cord and subsequently sucked back up into the retractor reel. They typically have an inertial ratchet that lets you pull out, but sticks on retract, unless you pull the cord all the way out to reset.

Before starting, cardinal rule is:
Always unplug before working on electrical stuff. If it's already acting up, you don't need to discover a short or a bit of bare insulation by shocking yourself or starting a fire.

With it unplugged:
  1. Pull the cord out as far as it would normally go. Depending on the exterior, give it a wipedown with a cleaning towel and a surface cleaner like simple green or windex. See if it's looking like it's coughing crumbs out of the cord hole as you pull.
  2. Let it retract all the way, then pull all the way back out. After you have a bit of cord out, pull it a short ways at higher speed, then let it retract back in, solid quick pull, slow retract. You're trying to get the ratchet to re-engage if it's gotten stuck or gummed up.
  3. If you can't get any response the above, you may have to consider whether you want to take it apart. Use a search engine to look for 'My mixer make/model service manual', or 'How to replace cord for my make/model mixer'. Likely as not, someone can go through replacement, which will give you the steps to open it up and just see if it needs cleaning. And, if something has just broken, you'll be in a position to replace it.
  4. A final thought - if it's working fine, and it's just an issue of the retracting cord pulling at the mixer as you work, you can also use a temporary cord-hold. You don't want to do anything that could pinch or cut the cord, but something like a medium sized binder clip, perhaps with a fold of tower inside , can be clipped onto the cord right where it emerges from the mixer, after you have enough cord out. The binder clips are cheap, pretty strong. and not likely to pop off without a deliberate re-opening when you're done.
Good Luck!

How do i fix the cord on the lawn mower sk that it makes noise and retacts ?

you have to remove the bottom cover on the mower and remove the cord compartment , its black, then open up the compartment and you may find, like I did, that the little plastic gears in side are broken and the broken parts are what is not letting the spring retract the cord, I fixed mine after removing all broken parts but it only makes the noise 10% of the time, which is not such a bad thing.

Jvc headphones retractable cord

The JVC HA-NC250s are a new version of their previous model 100, and JVC claims that they will cancel up to 85% of ambient noise, coupled with better sound. In this case, JVC claims up to 16.5 db reduction at 150 kHz. These on-the-ear headphones are very lightweight at 5.3 ounces and are extremely comfortable. The head band has a reasonable amount of sliding expansion for bigger heads, and the oblong ear pieces themselves rotate and fold flat for storage. JVC uses memory foam on the earpieces, as well as double housing, for extra noise isolation. The earpieces have 40 mm neodymium drivers, which are the same size and type that the Creative Aurvanas offer.The JVC HA-NC250 noise canceling headphones. Note the ear-cushion instruction tab that explains how to replace the hidden battery.

The NC250s come in a semi-rigid black case with a dual airline-plug adapter, a mini-to-RCA phono plug adapter and a 4' detachable headphone cord. JVC includes one AAA battery, which should last approximately 50 hours. A simple sliding switch on the right side turns the noise reduction on along with a small red LED. Learning how to add the battery to the headphones required that I study JVC's user manual. The process involves having to remove the earpiece covering to get to the battery compartment, which isn't at all obvious.

I have a Kenmore Vacuum cleaner 116.24212. The retractable electric cord won't retract. How can I fix it?

The retraction mechanizm is likely jammed. Mostly likely the cord has jumped it's groove in the retraction wheel/hub. If you are good with tools there is a 70% chance you can get it to work again with a basic DCR operation. Most mechanical problems can be solved using this simple rule: Dissassemble Clean and Reassemble.

CAUTION: The retract mech has a powerful spring inside, avoid exposing. Most retract mech units are rivoted closed so consumers won't poke thier eye out.
CAUTION: UNPLUG THE UNIT

Open the unit from the bottom and the top lid of the canister should come off.
The retract mech should be obvious as it is where the cord comes into the unit.
Look for the cord being bound by iteslf either on top or underneath (lie two cordes in one groove)
Remove any binding.
If you see no debris or obsticals for the cord to retract (where it is getting stuck)
Your spring could have sprung!
Do you feel and retract at all?
Can you locate the releae mechagnism?
Does the Release button seem to function? When Pressed it should take pressure off of the cord hub.
The retract mech may need replaced. Overall the cost will be about $60 for parts.

Electric cord won't retract

Depends on the machine. If its a Sebo K model then usually pulling on the cord will re-automatically retract the cord anyway. Any other brand and it will need to be replaced by a qualified repair.

Electrolux Lux 7000 retractable power cord

The trim pieces along the sides just pull off seperating the two housings. The back portion where the retract drum is is held by two plastic tangs on top inside. use a screwdriver to pry the ring down to dislodge the tangs. the bottom part will lift off. remove the front part using two screws just below the hinge. the retract has a long coil spring wound around a free spinning hub. there are two "tangs" inside that engage a ratchet-pawl assembly. you'll need to rotate the drum to rewind the spring onto its hub.
