SOURCE: cant download flash on meep tablet

This is not a MEEP! issue as much as it is an Android issue. In August 2012 Adobe dropped flash support for Android in support of HTML5 video standards. This means that the MEEP! will also not have flash available any longer.

Hope that helps!

I am not sure what it is that you are trying to do. You don't need a phone to set up or use the Meep. Please contact the OSI call center for assistance.

How do i unlock parent block

If this question is about a Meep Tablet, there is no 'lock' as part of the Meep unless someone has installed a 3rd party program. You will need to register and use the parent portal to adjust the permissions to allow various uses. If you are not able to register, contact OSI for assistance: 800-853-8883.

I bought a meep tablet from someone ... and I cannot set up parental controls because she has already registered tablet under her name. How can I fix this to put it under my name?

Factory reset does not affect the Meep's registration/parent account. This is something OSI must do for you. You can either call 800-853-8883, email [email protected], or contact the Meep support team on Facebook as Meep Tablet - US. Simply provide your serial# and ask that your parent account be 'cleared' of the previous user's information.

Meep problems

If you are receiving a message on your Meep of 'Times Up!', please try the following steps:
1. Register your Meep. Many of the capabilities of the Meep require the parent account to exist which puts the Meep into our system.

2. Adjust your parental settings to allow for times of use. You must set a time limit for every type of allowed activity and then save those settings. If you did set up permissions and you have the Times Up message, check that your settings are the way you set them and haven't been changed. 3. Update your Meep to our latest firmware version using our Meep Ota App available in the Meep Store and through Google Play. Earlier operating versions are linked to the Times Up issue.

If you still have a Times Up message:
1. It could be an issue within your browser in that it's retaining old settings and not updating them. Try clearing the browser cache and/or disabling extensions within your browser. Another option is our Meep Together smartphone app which can also be used to adjust parental settings instead of the portal website.
2. It could be your Meep is not connecting at this time to our servers thus not being able to receive the updated settings. Check that you show a green dot which means you are connecting to us or send a Private Message with your serial # and we can check the connection from our side.
3. Another option that bypasses servers is that you can update the settings right from the Meep's own parental control interface, assuming you are on version 2.1. Additionally, within the parental app on the Meep, you can reset the timer for the Meep with the reset button, the small circular icon in the upper right hand corner of the time management screen. Once reset, you can adjust the settings as you wish.

I registered my childs meep tablet with my email address, how do i stop my emails from showing on his tablet , cant find anything in settings

I am guessing that this actually involves your GooglePlay account and not the Meep parent portal account, as all Meep parent accounts use a parent's email and the emails don't go to the tablet in any way, other than through the Meep Together parental contral app which would involve a password to access. We have had people use their personal Gmail accounts for the Meep's GooglePlay and have this happen. This is why it's recommended to create a new Gmail account just for the Meep. The best thing to do is Open GooglePlay and change the account, creating a new one.

I want to stop my emails going to my childs meep tablet

The only way this can happen is if you mean you used your own Gmail for Google Play on the Meep. The parent account will not send email to the tablet, but we have seen this happen through Google Play. This is why we suggest you create a new Gmail for the Meep. You can change the email you use right in Google Play.
