SOURCE: How do I remove links from an Adidas Candy Wrist watch?

You can't. You must be referring to a different watch because the Candy Watches have a polyurethane strap as shown here:

SOURCE: I just purchased a WR

These watches are designed so that "regular" people can't adjust them. My advice (if you want to wear it) is to take it to a jeweler and spend the 20 bucks. If not, you should take it back and find one that fits. Target takes them back without a receipt - especially if you just want to exchange it.

I'm trying to find a battery to a Seiko watch, serial # 152635. The case # 8f33-0010.

Take it to a jeweller, $6 to $8 and takes 10 minutes. Most have a screw back. They have the batteries, the tools and the know how.

What exact battery do I need for Seiko SKA348?

  • Remove back
  • Find battery holder
  • Note battery type
  • Obtain replacement battery
  • Remove old battery and install new
  • Check operation
  • Reinstall back
  • Set time, etc.
OR,

Take your Seiko watch to a jeweler who, for a reasonable sum, will replace the battery

Change a battery in a ILorus by Seiko mickey mouse watch

A jeweler often opens a case by "knifing" it, i.e., inserting the flat portion of a knife blade and tapping the back of the blade with a small hammer until the back can be pried off.

When ready to reinstall the back, place the watch face down on a soft surface (but not too soft), align the notch in the back with the stem, and position the special installation tool (otherwise known as a socket of suitable diameter from a socket wrench set). Use the little hammer to whack the socket gently but firmly to seat the back. Try to avoid breaking the crystal as that leads to a bigger problem.

How to change links in relic watch

Watch links are usually either pin type or screws. If you look at the side of each link where it connects to the next link you will be able to tell as a screw has a slot and a pin doesn't. It's most likely a pin and in that case, the cheap way to do it is by using a standard cork board push pin. If it's too difficult to do by hand, use a small hammer. If that doesn't work take it to a mall jeweler and have them do it for you. Usually charge $10. Ideally, there a is a special tool to remove link pins and you can get them online for cheap.
The screw types just require a really tiny precision screwdriver.

Ive had my Seiko automatic titanium scuba 200m about 3 years when i got it, i had it sized down by taking out 3 links which the store gave me back and 3 pins that go with , ive put on a few pounds maxed...

Thanks for contacting FixYa.
Seiko normally will send out up to 5 extra links on new watches. I am not sure on watches that are 3 years old but you will need to contact Seiko on this one. MAYBE a watchmaker locally will have some extra peices that will work too.
You can contact Seiko here:

How do i open this thing? pry off or screw off? seiko womens 100m.

I have no ideal. All i know is that it is a Seiko womans watch and Seiko has numerous types of backs on them!! If it has 6 notches on the back, then yes, it is a screw off and it takes a special tool to open the back. Please take to a local jeweler who sells SEIKO to have the battery replaced.
