Deborah, you keep asking questions without supplying enough information for people to actually help you. What type of tablet do you have, is it Android, an iPad or Windows it makes a difference. Is your new email something assigned to you by your Internet service provider, your employer or is it something free like gmail, hotmail or yahoo mail? If it is one of the free ones, do you have it already or do you need help setting it up? Are you wanting to access your email with an app or with a browser? Help us help you, be specific and detailed.
You can go into the settings menu and do a factory reset. This is the easiest way however you will lose any and all data on the tablet including any pictures, contacts, etc. The other way is a little more complicated. You would need to access the settings> account menu. Add your own email account then delete hers. I assume you mean a password to lock the tablet. That would be under settings> security. You will need her password to enter then you should be prompted to enter a new password twice.
your WI FI password should be on the back of your ROUTER . try typing in your Browser search box Make, model also state its a Wi Fi tablet click on search and on the page that appears . If you have a PC or Laptop use it to get the manual then you can read the instructions while setting up your tablet . Hope this helps .
go into settings and to a factory reset. Since its new there is probably nothing you need to save. Take it all the way back. Then check your keyboard settings see if they are set on something, besides qwerty.
The password is set up by you when new, from new no passwords are set! You need to factory reset! from off, press power and volume+ buttons together until reset screen comes up, then move using volume and select using power buttons!
After having this tablet in limbo for over a year now I decided to contact customer service again but by e--mail this time. First the sent me instructions to hard reset it. I needed to email them again because this unit does not have an outside volume adjustment knob, which I needed to press simultaneously with the power button for 5 seconds. To make along story short the unit is on it's way back to Southern Telecom in Brooklyn N. Y. for replacement!
