Question about Cycling

1 Answer

To change my Boss Cyclocomputer into miles and not kilometers.

I have a boss cyclocomputer for my bike. This was purchased about 15 years ago and recently the battery had to be changed. This has made the computer revert back to kilometres where as I would like miles. Please could you help with instructions as I have seemed to lost mine. I also need to check that the sensor are in the right place to measure the distance. I am doing a charity bike ride for the Red Cross in July, 75 miles, and I would like to use my computer for training. Thanks for any assistance.

Also have lost instructions but after some trial and error this seems to work with mine:

  • Remove and replace battery to go into initial settings.
  • press mode
  • press ST/SP to toggle between km/h and mph
  • press mode to set external tyre circumference.
  • adjust circumference (in cm.) with ST/SP.
  • press mode again to go to usable state.
Good luck Mike

Contac them with your quest and tell them we are STILL WAITING for the promised web presence of user manuals.

They'll probably email what you want and make some kind of excuse. Too bad. Great products, so-so online support for those products.
