Question about Toshiba Satellite S855s5369 15.6inch Laptop Ice Blue Brushed Aluminum
I was using this laptop last month and for the life of me i cant remember the power on password this will be the last time i try to go Mac without writing own my PC info. Can anyone help me here.
1)There are PW hacking programs out there that usually rely on creating a boot disk that will get you in to the extent of reaching your registry that keeps the password in a specific location.
2) Reinstall your Operating system. (Hopefully you have a backup of all your data and and saved your installation disks.)

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Bios Password
From what I remember a bios password is easy to remove in some Toshiba laptop models. You just remove the battery. Pull the RAM out (make sure you are grounded when doing this--at a minimum don't walk around or shuffle your feet while touching the RAM) Under the RAM there should be a piece of mylar tape. (shiny brown or black) That should expose 2 or 3 solder welds where no component is located. Take a paperclip and make contact with the welds for at least 10 seconds. This should short out where the bios is stored.
For the HDD issue this might work:
Try F8 before the system POST(s) to get to ADMIN account in safe mode. Then go to control panel and user accounts and remove the password. This only works depending upon your OS. Good luck.
