This is not problem with the isp(internate service provider),it is password protected for users so you need to ask the password for the wireless from were you use

Just installed new roku going through set up menu goes to get newest update and kept getting error code 011

That error code is usually associated with the firewall in the wireless router. If you turn off the router firewall then the Roku should be able to access the Internet to perform the update.

What is error code 011

You probably have a slow internet connection. It is recommended that you have a minimum 25/25 Mbps connection from your provider. If you do then the streaming stick might be too far from your wireless router. Try to move the router closer to the Streaming Stick if possible. The best way to watch streaming video is with a wired Ethernet connection with a Roku 3 or other wired device.

I cannot get the roku to connect to my wifi i cannot remember original password so i am trying to use the guest it keeps giving me a code 011 help

You will have to either remember your password, or reset your wifi back to factory settings and set up a new password. In order to clear the "code 011" error, you will have to hold the reset button down on the Roku for at least 30 seconds to do a factory reset. But, don't do this until you get your wifi password issue squared away first.

I hope that helps.

Error 011

This error normally means that the Roku can't get past your router's security or it is connected to a Guest network. Make sure that you're not connecting the Roku to a Guest network.

Won't connect to internet code 50922

Try adjusting the "Channel" your wireless router broadcasts on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11. This can potentially increase the download speed.
Check your router's broadcast settings to find out if it is set to "G", "B", or "Mixed." Mixed typically works best, but try all three to see if it improves the network connection to the Wii console.

Make sure that any other interfering devices, such as microwaves and cordless phones, are turned off. Wireless keyboards and mice may also cause interference.
