Question about Anderson Manufacturing Anderson Metals #36112-08 1/2xClose Brass Nipple
The only info that the window has on it is NCTL. House was built in 1990 & it is in a community of townhouses so I am sure that these windows are the cheapest grade that they could get.
I was able to open the window and they have two black clips on top that you have to squeeze before they will open. I was able to tilt them to wash them but cannot get it back in the track on one side and now I cannot open them at all.
My son tried to get it back on track and broke one of the clips and now have to use a screwdriver to open that window. I have several windows now that I cannot open after tilting and cleaning them.
What can I do to get them back on the track without breaking the black clip that you need to open them.
Replace the bad window,,, then try adding bit of white grease or graphite to the slides on remainder of your windows so they don't break
