How to defrag on acer extensa 5620

You can use the built-in Disk Defragmenter to Defragment your system.
To defragment your hard disk
  1. Open Disk Defragmenter by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Disk Defragmenter, and then, in the list of results, click Disk Defragmenter.
  2. Under Current status, select the disk you want to defragment.
  3. To determine if the disk needs to be defragmented or not, click Analyze disk. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Once Windows has finished analyzing the disk, you can check the percentage of fragmentation on the disk in the Last Run column. If the number is above 10%, you should defragment the disk.
4. Click Defragment disk. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Very slow speed on my 9301 laptop

You can speed up your 93011 laptop by:

-- cleaning system junk
-- optimizing computer services
-- optimizing internet
-- repairing registry
-- defraging registry
-- clearing browsers junk

do these things with some secure tool such as Intel Software Partner Reginout.

My Acer Aspire 7520 keeps on saying no memory left. I moved all my photos to D drive but C drive is still full.My brother thinks its something to do with back up restorecontinually updating but not...

HARD DISK MAINTENANCE To remove redundant and temporary files, recover disk space and speed up hard disk access, then disk maintenance should be done at least once a month.
Disk Cleanup should be done first - Click My Computer - then right click on the C drive then click Properties, then click Disk Cleanup - let it examine the C drive then it will calculate the amount of disk space it will recover, tick all the boxes to recover the maximum disk space and then Click OK and then Yes to perform these actions. If you have a D drive then repeat these steps on this drive too.
Next the C drive needs to be Defrag. This process converts fragmented files into continuous files and this speeds up disk access and makes the hard disk not work as hard. Click on Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Defragmenter – click to highlight the C drive and click Analyse - then click Defragment.
When this is completed repeat these steps for the D Drive if you have a D drive.
Disk Cleanup and Defrag can take a long time to complete, especially if these tasks have not been for a long time.

What can I do to speed up my ACER Aspire 4720Z

Disk defragging maybe not enough. The problem can be caused by various hidden Windows errors. They firstly cause your Acer slow, and then freeze up occasionally. One day crash all of a sudden! To quickly handle the issues, it is recommended to use an Acer speed up software to scan your Aspire. See how to from: http://www.speedupacer.com/

Internet connection

Time to time you may need to run a disk defrag on your pc, usually on xp it's double click my computer, right click the c:\ drive, go to properties and select tools, defrag should be in there, now it may take hours to complete but see if that solves. also make sure your disk is not full, good luck!
