Question about Canon PowerShot S1 IS Digital Camera
Someone else posted that Canon fixed it for free.
Here's a link to the Canon service site that explains their take on the problem. Yes they will fix it if it is indeed a CCD issue.
I have a similiar problem.
My symptoms are:
- flip out LCD will not display image while taking a picture
- flip out LCD will dispaly images from memory
- small eyepiece will display image, so camera is still functional in that it can take a picture.

First check your camera option press display button if not solved it is a hardware problem with your camera LCD, maybe move it wrong way please concern your cannon department.
