Soleus Air HM2-15R-32 powers up but will not heat - power light keeps blinking

My son uses this heater in his room and my husband shut it off one day. My son then tried to turn it back on later in the day and it wouldn't heat up. The power light just keeps blinking.

SOURCE: Optimus H-4338 The warning light came on and now the heater will

there's no reset, but unscrew the 3 screws in the back. Cut out white sleeve that covers the red & white wires. Take the fuse out from beginning to end. Attach the white & red wires directly. The fuse is not needed. Wrap w/ electrical tape. You, me and everyone that has bought this heater had the same problem. I called customer support. This is what they told me.

SOURCE: Power light keeps blinking

Occassionally a surge may disrupt the power supply. Unplug the power cord, wait a minute or so, and reconnect. This will reset unit in most instances.

SOURCE: Pilot light lit but no heat

the pilot's millivolt generator may be at fault.  if you have a meter that is capable of measuring a very small DC voltage, connect it up to the very end of the thermocouple and the copper cappillary. the thermocouple has a welded bead at the very end inside that generates a small DC voltage. Same principle of a J-K thermocouple. Iron constintan  - two dissimiller metals where joined together produce a voltage when heated.  the thermocouple actuates a millivolt electromagnet inside the valve to keep the valve pellet open.  no voltage there it won't actuate the electromagnet.

SOURCE: Tv cuts off and green light flashes

If your set was manufactured around July 2005, you may need a firmware upgrade to solve this issue. On the Sony website you can enter your model # and serial # to see if you TV is affected. If so, it is easy to have done and may be free from Sony. It sounds like the issue they described in the writeup on the required formware update. I had mine done within few months of when i bought it (purchased in Dec 2005) and it has been working flawlessly since.

Good luck!

SOURCE: TV turns off and power light blinks unpluged andd still does it.

Likely to be the STK convergence chips causing a protection circuit to switch the TV off. Have you got any onscreen convergence problems (i.e, colour fringes)?

My led tv just shuts off.wait 10 mins and it can

Seems that your TV is subjected to overheating. Flat screen TV's need ventilation or they will suffer terribly. If the TV is inside a cabinet, air does not circulate well and in summer is may over heat. In winter the room temperature also plays its part in overheating the TV. When the problem happens, observe why, feel the temperature in the room and not the days it happens. If it shuts down and then 10 minutes later if restarts, this is temperature related problem. Try and place your TV on an small low cabinet so that the rear of the TV has enough air circulation without the hot air that the TV produces returned into the TV back panel. normal air is usually sucked from below the TV and expelled above it. Place your hands on the top back part of the TV and feel the heat. place your hand below the back part of your TV and feel how cool it feels. When a Flat screen TV is placed inside a cabinet designed for TVs, the air circulation is affected, and it recycles hot air back through the lower part of the TV therefore heating it to a critical level that it eventually shut down to prevent damage to components. And in winter, when your heaters are on, the room heat can actually damage the TV in those cabinets. Try and place the TV in the open part of the room and see if there are changes with the problem. if it stops, then that was the problem.

Using as heater and unit is blowing cold air

A heat pump is an air conditioner that reverses its refrigerant flow. In the cooling mode, the evaporator is cold to the room and its condenser is hot. In the heating mode, a valve reverses the refrigerant flow and makes the evaporator warm and the condenser cold.

It doesn't want to shut off and we have no heat?

when you say it doesnt want to shut off i'm guessing you mean the fan. the fans run on a timer when the thermostat calls for heat it will come on 90-120 sec.later. turn your t stat down below room temp and it will shut off in 30-60 sec.your ignitor is most likly bad. turn your t stat back up and look at it. it should glow. furnace will try to light 3 times, you may hear the gas flow for 3 sec.during this cycle. if no glow good chance that is your problem and you will need to replace it.be carefull it is very brittle and breaks easy if tapped. be sure to turn the t stat down again or the fan will start running again.

So the in door unit is comming on and blowing air but the out door unit is not... i ck power to the unit and all the leads inside no wires looked burnt....i thinking it is the top power supply, black box on...

Toget proper heat, keep your temp setting at 30+ degree and also mode in "heat"position. If still no heat, check your heating sensor for closed circuit by anOHMs metre. It it's with RV, check power to RV.If it's with heatingelement check power to element. If power is there but still no heat meanselement defective. Replace new heating element. Thanks. Toget proper cool, keep the tips as follows:
1. Check air filter is cleaned. 2. Check indoor coil is cleaned. 3. Checkindoor blower motor is working. 4. Keep in cool mode. 5. Set temp minimum 3degrees less than room temp.6.Check compressor is working with correctpressure.

I have a glow warm 20000 btu natural gas unvented heater. The unit is wall mounted. It won't stay on for more than 15 minutes, then shuts itself off. Its in a corner if that makes a difference... but has...

well, these heaters are typically thermostat-bound, and I have found that they simply will not burn continuously, like a blue-flame heater. Try turning up the setting--this will make it come on/off more often, effectively heating at least one med-lg room, and partially for adjoining areas. Keep in mind that these only rated for 700-1500 SF--that is NOT the floor measurements, but square feet of airspace; eg., a 10' x 15' room has 10' x 15' x 8' (8 foot ceiling) =1200 sf. That said, My 15k btu wall unit had been the sole heating source for my entire home for 5 years, until last year, when I acquired another smaller unit. However, I typically only use a few rooms, and shut off unused areas (ya, was 'cool' in unused back room areas).
