You can download the Asus camera driver (please make sure that it is match with your Asus laptop model) and install it because it may trigger the laptop to look for the camera. Probably the camera is failing, but it is very rare.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Asus reverse camera

I found a possible solution for you on the asus notebook forum page:
Run the camera through the Windows Explorer.
Your camera built-in will appear upside down, right?
Inside the folder with the drivers provided by ASUS there's software called tsnp2std.exe.
With your camera opened, run this application; you will notice a small icon in tray area; right click on it and now choose the option: Open Property Page.

There should be a way to invert or flip the camera display on the Property Page. I hope this helps. If not, you may need to download the latest driver from asus for your built in camera.
Best of luck, Jon

I have an Asus M51A with built in camera when i try to install the drivers for it it returns an error that there is no camera found, it doesnt show in device manage i also have an error for the mobile...

If you do a cold start, unplug AC from remove battery, hold on/off button for a few seconds, replace battery, plug into AC, start normally. Your windows vista OS should ID your webcam and search fro the driver and other devices. Run windows update for drivers and updates. If that fails look for the drivers here: http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Multimedia_Entertainment/M51A/#download

I have an eee pc 900 series, and the camera is not being detected

To turn the camera on IS in the BIOS. It's not in a logical "camera" spot but it's in there. My camera on my Eee PC 1000H got turned off somehow (not by me or by a BIO upgrade) so I found it and fixed it. Look for it in the BIOS menu's. It's there.
