Easiest way is to connect the pS3 to your wireless network. If you don't have a wireless network, connect a ethernet cable from your PS3 LAN port (on the back of the PS3) to one of the numbered LAN ports on your router.
It is just be a matter of synching the blue tooth system of the blackberry to that of the PS3. Assuming the PS3 is not currently connected to the web or connected to a modem, you should be able to search for the PS3 by using the Bluetooth search tool in the Blackberry setup menus. Then for headsets, set those up through the PS3 by turning on the head sets, and then using the Blue tooth set up utility of the PS3 to search for the head sets.
Otherwise If you do not have Wifi active currently and don't have good cellular coverage in your area, you can use a Wifi Bridge Dongle (connector cable) like this one, there are others available too. http://www.espow.com/wholesale-wifi-bridge-dongle-wireless-for-dreambox-xbox-ps3.html to connect the PS3 to your home computer and use it as the hub assuming you ahve it connected to DSL or broadband. headsets would set up the same way.

File formats that the PS3 doesn't recognize as something that it can play can only be saved to a USB storage device, or a memory card. You can't download anything to the PS3 hard drive via the browser that you couldn't copy to it from a USB storage device. That is what the error message means. You have to connect an external storage device, because the PS3 won't store this file format on the internal drive. This protects the integrity of the system. If you connect a USB drive or memory card (you will need a USB adapter for the memory card if you don't have a launch PS3), then you can download anything that you want using the PS3 web browser.
I experienced the same issume before. This is called Yellow Light of Death or (YLOD)
Please see below on some information regarding this issue and some possible reslotion to prevent this from happening:
If we go by Sony's definition then having PS3 YLOD means "general hardware failure". So it means that a fault could have occurred anywhere in your Console. Don't be afraid though, since most of the times PS3 YLOD is due to motherboard getting detached. Tips on how to fix it:
Alternatively you can try to repair ps3 YLOD yourself. There are a couple of things you can try to fix YLOD - check for any loose connections since some connections might be loose, you can also try switching it off for around 30 mins and switch it on again. This will help in cooling your PS3 down.
If these tricks don't work, then I will suggest you go through a dedicated PS3 repair guide instead of tinkering on your own. Such guide will cost you almost nothing in comparison to what Sony charges. And, god forbid, if it happens again you can solve the problem for free.
One of the greatest thing about doing it yourself is that you don't have to pay hefty charges to the big companies. Also, you don't have to wait for weeks, you'll completely fix ps3 ylod in no more than a few hours. Many people have already successfully fixed yellow light of death and I don't see a reason why you won't be able to do it. If my PS3 has yellow light of death then I won't pay Sony to repair my PS3. I'd rather fix PS3 lights myself. If all this steps wont work i suggest to call SONY

Are you hard wiring it? if so you may need to reboot your modem then start the ps3 back up. Don't unplug from the computer and connect it directly to your PS3 because the modem still has the computer's ip address and it won't recognize the PS3 until you reboot it. If it's a wireless connection, check to see that when you scan for wireless connection that the green wireless LED is blinking, meaning it's searching for a signal. If it's blinking, then try resetting the modem and the wireless router as well and give it another try. If the green light does not blink, then there might be a harware issue with your PS3. Good luck
ok here's what you do. Hook up your ps3 to your hd via hdmi cable then turn the tv on first. Then turn the power on to your ps3 and switch tv to hdmi. wait a while then a screen should come up and you should see and screen where it says an hdmi device is connected do u want to accept theses settings say yes. sometimes the "handshake" doesn't happen properly. If u already know this or have tried this it could be that your tv needs a firmware update, happened to me.
