F8 ERROR MESSAGE on FRAMTID OV10

Hello anyone. I have a F8 error showing on my FRAMTID OV10 - Anyone know what it means and how to fix it? Thanks

Yes F8 is oven door lock error warning.

You need to physically check the door switches and lock relay, these will be inside the oven casing.

It is probably not the easiest of diy jobs as everything is concealed.

what this error message means no the screen is that there has been a loose of wire from the connection or loose of wire from the element that i the heat provider (heater)on the below oven unit

the failure of the below oven has nothing to do with control switch from your statement or explanation .

what you will have to do to fix up the problem of the oven is to unscrew (open) the oven from the stroll with a stroll driver (tools) from behind then trace the wire (power connector from the switch ) down to the element beside (left or right)Conner of the oven silver in color to see if there is any form of loose wire from this position , if yes then you will have to fix up back to the element with care with out disconnecting any other wire from it position ,but is non the it then mean that the element will need a replacement

Oven shuts down with a f3 error showing in display panel


hello,

what this means is an indication that there is loose of wire from the connection of power supply

what you have to do to fix up this problem is to unscrew (open) the oven then trace the wire from the power supply over to the oven is self then check if the fuse is in the normal position fix up the loose wire to there position.

F9 error message during self cleaning cycle


Hello,F9 error means there is a problem with the lock switch.Check the wiring to the door lock switch (the wire harness may be connected wrongly).Check for stuck lock switch.

Kenmore oven - will not heat on bake / will heat on broil


its your temp sensor. replace it and it should fix ur prob
F2=overheat
is your bottom element connected?

F 14 Error Message


well first it doesn't matter when the problem occurred warranty is warranty but you can pull the oven out and pull the panel off the top where the eoc is and pull the mylar ribbon out there is a black plastic piece at the base of the ribbon pull it up and pull the ribbon out clean it with a pencil eraser then reseat it and lock it down if that doesn't fix it then the eoc must be replaced go to www.frigidaire.com and find a service in your area it will be a warranty issue
