Does it come on at all? Check circuit breaker first. If it got into the console & or cabinet, may have shorted one of the circuit boards.

SOURCE: About once every 7-10 days,

Their is a catch pan that has 2 float switches in it. One of them is supposed to pump the water into the water tray atop the machine.
The other is supposed to kill power if the pump motor fails. I would be willing to bet a hose came off the pump. When the tank gets full the water gets expelled to the floor. Here is a manual for condenser dryers:

Bathroom leak

Most likely the problem is a leaking drain pipe in the wall, perhaps because of a failed joint. The reason it's not going down the wall to the floor of the dining room is because there is a top plate on the wall. Most likely the water is running down the bathroom wall, then out over the dining room drywall ceiling. It is finding the lowest spot in the area to accumulate and is soaking into the drywall. Since it is drain water, it is dirty and is picking up additional contaminates from the wall and causing the brown stain. It may or may not be soft, depending on how much water accumulates at one time, but it is slowly breaking down the ceiling where the stain is.
That said, are you sure it's a leak, or are you assuming that since you see the stain on the ceiling. I say this because mice, like many other rodents, usually pick one location to use as their bathroom. If you have mice in the ceiling and this is where they do their thing, you will get the same type of indication.

Before leaving the house I turned on the dryer. After several hours I got home and the laundry room smelled like rotten eggs. The laundry room is upstairs with only a wash basin and washing machine in...

Its never a good idea to leave a clothes dryer unattended. They are often a source of house fires. Is it a gas dryer? Maybe a gas leak, do not use until checked by a qualified person. If electric tumble dryer, then maybe the smell was caused by some lint collected around the heater element, and it eventually scorches and stinks like that. Either way,get it checked by a profession qualified person, don't risk a fire in your house! Hope this helps, good luck.

Dryer turned off suddenly

The dryer must have a blockage. Better check the vent and filter housing for excess lint buildup. These dryers have fuses mounted on the blower housing to kill the dryer before the thing catches on fire.

Zanussi wjs1265w washer/dryer

hi The door of the dryer is sealed with one or more gaskets to keep the hot air in the dryer from escaping and prevent the cool air in the laundry area from being sucked into the dryer. A deteriorated or damaged gasket greatly lowers the efficiency of the dryer. To check the gasket, hold a sheet of tissue paper near the rim of the door while the machine is running. If the door leaks, the paper will flutter. If the gasket or seal leaks, looks worn or warped, has chunks of material missing, or feels hard and nonresilient, it should be replaced with a new gasket of the same type.
