if your camera or any electronics appliances happened to enter water or moisture, you must remove the power source(battery)at the immediate, hence the water is a conductor of electric power it will spoil the entire circuits of it. in this case there is very rare possibility to cure. any how please open your camera and take out the LCD display, there may be corrosion on the clipping connectors, try to clean all the connectors, wash the total circuit board with cleaning liquid, re connect all then power on.

My nex c3 was drop at the sea water any possible to repair?

Remove the battery and place submerged in a bowl of rice overnight as this soaks up the water. If you have tried to turn it on there is very little chance it will work but its worth a shot. Hope this helps.

DSC-T70 camera got wet and now won't power on. Battery seems to charge fine.

I'm guessing you tried to turn it on way too soon and fried the circuits. A camera with fresh water damage should be buried in a bowl of dry rice for a week before even attempting to turn it on. Salt water damage?....chances of a complete recovery are slim to none.

Camera got wet in the ocean and now the screen on the back of the camera does not work/display anything - just stays black.

If you tried to turn it on without properly drying it for a week, you probably fried the circuits. Even if you didn't, the salt water would eventually corrode everything inside the camera anyway.

How do you troubleshoot a pentax camera? My camera

A wet camera should not be turned on. Remove as much water from the battery and card compartment as possible. Bury the camera in a bowl of rice for a week before trying it.

The LCD touch screen is not lit. Sometimes camera does not turn on. It got wet in a heavy thunderstorm.

It's probably fried by the water. Your only hope is to set it aside for a couple weeks, and let it thoroughly dry out, then try it again. But probably you already tried to turn this one on while it was still wet, and that fried the circuitry. If so, you're outta luck. Sorry! Next time something electronic gets wet, do that but don't EVER try to turn it on while it's still wet.Gotta give it LOTS of time to dry out inside in order to have any hope of a recovery.

My sony cyber camera got wet and i can't take pictures it turn on and off and i also can see the pictures that i had in the memory but when i try to take new pictures the screen looks blak or gray. i can...

Let it dry properly.Take out all memory cards and batteries and let them dry out as well. Try again in a week or so. Don't use blow dryer or any additional heat to dry your camera, because it may damage the electronics.

Well some people believe that if u put ur wet camara without the battery the on (uncooked) rice for 24 hours all the water left in it will leave the camara for good.
