Question about Gateway LT2030u Netbook

You press the F11 key at start up and you should be presented with the Gateway System Recovery option. That will allow you to restore your computer to it's originally installed state.
If this is because of a bios password...
Please contact Gateway, I do not assist in helping to bypass security features.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Very simple! You need to go into Cmos for the setup which is usualy F2 on boot. Once in the setup you go to the end page whwere it asks you if you want to restore factory defaults. Simply click on it then press save and exit. If F2 does not work on the boot to access Cmos setup then look at the screen as it starts to boot and it will usualy tell you what function key is for setup. Good luck Phil
