Question about Kenwood VR-6050 Receiver

Taperecorder no "foreward" or "backward" run ( and a "start" problem

Hey experts - call from Denmark! It´s about my Kenwood casette deck kx - w6050: when I connect it to the power supply nothing happens - then the red dot starts to blink - then when I puch the power button the display starts to blink ( both in a frekvently way) . Then after a while I can set the tape to run ("play")- but when I push the "foreward" or "backwards" button, it will only run a few seconds, then it stops. Can you solve this problem? Greetings from Freddy

It will be one of the drive belts , its better to get a repair shop to replace both belts , i have tried replacing belts myself and they are fiddly and time consuming , if you keep playing it the way it is you will damage the motors that turn the belts

not really sure why it influences the red lights [could be due to the tape head when it connects to the tape itself ] but i still believe it is the drive belts

Kenwood KX-79 CW dual cassette hook up?

Just connect the deck via tape 1 the out of the deck going to the in of the amp. While the out of the amp goes to the in of the deck.

The tape deck itself will automatically choose the player that plays the cassette. One will play the other will be on pause (if you press both play buttons) till the tape stops then the other will play. For recording from tape to tape one deck will be the copy and the other the copier. There should be a dubbing button which you press to record tape to tape. Some models have a high speed dub also. For recording from the amp unless both decks have record buttons you will only be able to record with one deck. Make certain the dub button is not set.

I would have thought that it should go from the amp to the tuner, then the tape deck and finally the CD deck.

I'm suspecting that your tuner is faulty and thats whats causing the system to shut down

Como conectar un ecualizador Technics SH-E51 a un amplificador Kenwood KA300

How do I connect my equalizer to my receiver?
There are two methods of connecting an equalizer, by either using the tape monitor or the main pre-in & output jacks. To connect through the Tape loop, connect the EQ L&R outputs to the Tape-in (play) jacks of the receiver, then take the EQ L&R inputs to the Tape-Out (REC) of the receiver. On the front of the receiver you will need to select the Tape Monitor to access the equalizer. To connect through main pre-out/ pre-in jacks, connect the EQ L&R outputs to the receiver main-in inputs (pre-in), then connect the EQ L&R inputs to the main out (pre-out)
