SOURCE: Saeco Vienna Digital Expresso Maker - brew group will not line up to fit back into espresso machine

Could be a number of reasons. If you "hear" the brew group moving in one direction, stop and then move again, then the microswitches are o.k. If the sound of the movement is low and/or slow ( slower that normal), the CPU/power board may be bad and needs to be replace. If the movement is as before (same sound and movement) but not lining up, perhaps the brew drive motor is bad.
To remedy this situation, an authorized SAECO Service Center would have to open your machine and replace damaged components. Contact Saeco USA Inc. to located a Service Center near you at 800-933-7876 (toll-free), ask for customer support, or contact SAECO via e-mail at : outlet@saeco-usa.com

SOURCE: portafilter loose in group head

Hi,

Do you only have the top off or do you take out the boiler too?

if you took out the boiler then i think the holder is in wrong position, make sure the gasket in the holder are in place, if not then the portafilter do not lock tight.

Hope this will help you.

Best regards
/Mirran

SOURCE: Starbucks Barista (Saeco) Espresso machine Quit pumping

Hi
If it makes a noise when you turn the brew switch on you may have a blockage in the out let line. If it doesn't make a noise but every so often you may have a bad pump.

Message door is opened Saeco Sirius

i've refurbished 3 of these just last month. this is a pain to fix when it happens imho. get your newelectronx 102 and grab the oval screwdriver. we need to get our hands dirty.
pull out the brew group and you should see a spring directly above the door. somewhere above the brew group funnel. use a paper clip or reach a flat head for the tool kit in there and remove coffee ground that is causing this problem. unjam that micro switch sensor and viola your this message should disappear.

How do I repair the rear upper control bushings and the dogbone bushings?

The old bushes have to be pushed out with a hydraulic press, which means the suspension assemblies have to be removed. You will almost certainly need some specific sized jigs to fit the bushes and the dogbone, meaning a trip to a machine shop. If yu don't have a press, it will be cheaper to have the dealer do it as they have the tools.

Replace reverse valve ir 2135

YOU NEED TO COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLE THE WHOLE TOOL.
START BY REMOVING THE 4 MOTOR HOUSING SCREWS, SLIDE THE HAMMER CASE, HAMMER ASSEMBLY AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY FROM THE MOTOR HOUSING.
THE REVERSE VALVE WILL BE VISIBLE NOTE THE ORIENTATION ON THE AIR OPENING IT LOOKS LIKE A HALF MOON, THE VALVE WITH EITHER BUTTON PRESSED IN SHOULD AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE.
NEXT YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE INLET BUSHING ASSEMBLY THAT IS HELD IN BY A CLIP THE IS VISIBLE THROUGH 2 SLOTS LOCATED ON THE LOWER SIDES OF THE GRIP, THEY NEED TO BE PRESSED IN TO SLIDE THE INLET BUSHING OUT THE BOTTOM OF THE TOOL. THERE IS A SPECIAL TOOL THAT SIMULTANEOUSLY PRESSES BOTH SIDES OF THE CLIP BUT CAN BE SUBSTITUTED WITH 2 SMALL FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVERS.
ONCE THE INLET IS REMOVED, THE TRIGGER CAN SLIDE OUT THE FRONT OF THE TOOL
NEXT USE A SMALL FLAT HEAD SCREW DRIVER TO PRY THE REVERSE BUTTON OUT OF THE HOUSING, INSERT THE SCREW DRIVER INSIDE THE INNER EDGE TO PRY OUT,
ROTATE THE VALVE 45 DEGREES IN THE OTHER DIRECTION TO REMOVE THE SECOND BUTTON.
NEXT PUSH DOWN ON THE REVERSE VALVE IT WILL COME OUT THE BOTTOM.

Ingersoll Rand model 2135. Gun still runs with the trigger off. Disassembled, but cannot figure how to remove throttle assembly.

The throttle valve is housed inside the inlet bushing assembly (item# 26). To remove the assembly there are 2 slots near the bottom of the handle, you will see a metal tip through the slot, that is the clip (item# 27) that need to be depressed in order to remove the inlet bushing assembly (item# 26). There is a special tool to depress the clip but can be substituted by using a small flat head screw driver, once the clip is released, slide the assembly out of the housing and at the very top is the throttle valve (item# 28D) it is held in by a retaining ring (item# 28G). WARNING the throttle valve (item# 28D) has a spring (item# 28C) below pushing up, be careful when removing the retaining ring (item# 28G) it could pop out with some force!

The handle is coming apart. It does not fit tight enough & sometimes falls while the coffee is brewing. Where can I purchase a new one to fit my Solis SL 70 machine purchased late in 2004.

HI
If the portafilter is coming out when brewing your brew head gasket needs to be replaced. If you have never replaced your brew head gasket its way beyond time. They should last about 3-4 years at the most. With a good brew head gasket the portafilter should be easy to lock in, not requireing a lot of pressure to force it over. Try replaceing the gasket first before you invest in a new portafilter. If you really need one I have some and the gaskets.

The little drawer on the side that the puck drops down into will not go back in. Its like the level inside is stick down so the drawer cannot go completely in. Help me please asap ,

Hi
Here is one way to get it back in.
Look on the left side where the box goes in. On the bottom left side of the opening inside the machine is a round part of the body with a long slot in it. Turn the machine on and slide plastic knife in front of the slot, then push towards the back of the machine. This will start the motor and cycle the brew unit back to where it needs to be. Then you can slide the box back in.
Remember, when the brew unit is moving, don't remove the dredge box or it will stop the machine and you will have this problem again. Let it stop before you remove anything.

How can i reset de saeco odea giro plus ? I can not place the central unit because the axes or spindle is not in the right position.

Turn off the machine. Open the side panel, remove the dreg tray, remove the dreg box and remove the brew group. reinsert the dreg box without the tray. Using a flat head screw driver insert lightly into the slot where the brew group sensor is until you hear a click. Hold the screw driver in place while closing the side door and turning it on. The head will re-align. Now open the side panel, remove the box and reassemble. Leave the machine off for an hour and turn back on. That should reset it.

Insert Brew Unit

hi
If the brew unit (the dark gray thing inside that has "push" on it) is not locked in, you get this message.
Push in the center of the brew unit towards the back and see if you hear a click? If you don't, remove the brew unit and look in the back. Behind the brew unit there is a recess. Inside the recess is a verticle slot. There should be an arm the moves from top right to bottom left. If you don't see this arm, thats your problem. It will have to be serviced to replace the arm. Its caused by inserting the brew unit with the funnel down (not locked up). Remember to push the "Push" lever before inserting your brew unit.
