First, try to start it in safe mode. To do that, go to start, run, and type in WinWord.exe /safe. From there you have the option to go to the Office button (the one with the office logo in the top left corner) and go to Word Options. Then go to Resources, and click on the Diagnose button. If that doesn't help, you can also go to start, settings, control panel, add/remove programs, and choose to repair word specifically. If that doesn't work, do a FULL uninstall. After it uninstalls, don't reboot yet. Go to My computer, C drive, Program Files, and COMPLETELY DELETE the Microsoft Office folder. Then empty the recycle bin. That usually gets all the stubborn pieces out. In extreme cases, you may need to go to start, run, type in regedit, and do a search for all "office" entries in the registry and delete, them, but this is often taken care of with the reboot and highly advised against to play in the registry unless you know what you're doing. After you completely turn your computer off and turn it back on, reinstall the program and after that HOPEFULLY it works!!

Computer mouse tips

Using the mouse in combination with the keys on your keyboard can give you several different advantages and help improve your overall productivity on the computer. Below are just a few examples.
Almost all text editors
Many text editors or programs that allow you to edit text support the ability to quickly highlight all or portions of text by using the Shift key and the mouse. For example, move the cursor to the beginning of the text you wish to highlight, hold down the shift key, and click at the end of the text you wish to highlight. If supported and done properly this will highlight all text in-between the points you clicked.
Microsoft Word
In Microsoft Word holding down the ALT key on your keyboard while clicking and dragging your mouse and you will be able to drag a box and highlight only portions of text and not the whole line.
Windows Explorer and many other file
Microsoft Windows Explorer and other file managing programs allow users to select multiple files by holding down the CTRL key and clicking each file or folder they wish to select or hold down the shift key and selecting multiple files at once.
Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and other browsers
Users who visit a website with tables and wish to only select one row of that table can hold down the CTRL key and click and drag on the text in the row they wish to copy.
Mozilla Firefox users
Mozilla Firefox users can also hold down the CTRL key and individually click on each cell they wish to copy.

Translate Text to Other Languages in Microsoft Word 2007

The world has become a global village where you need to communicate with people of diverse cultures and languages. We come across people who speak different languages on the internet, or we need to communicate with different people in the global business market. Sometimes we need to translate business documents as everybody doesn’t speak the same language. Students might need to translate some facts as well as information e.g. the history of a specific country into their own language in order to learn about its history.
Everyone can’t have an access to a professional translator who could help them out in this matter. Due to this reason, word-processing programs are available who try to fulfill this requirement. Other than the different programs which fill this requirement, it is possible to translate text in Microsoft Word 2007. The feature to translate text in Microsoft Word 2007 can be used like any other translation program. In order to translate text in Microsoft Word 2007, we just have to use its built-in function.
Follow the given steps to translate word text into other languages:

  • Select the text you want to translate. You can type it there and then or you could paste it from somewhere. If you need to select the entire document, and if it is very lengthy, you can go back to the "edit" tab and click "select all." Or you can just highlight the entire or part of the text by clicking the left mouse button and dragging it across the text you want to highlight.

fdf9d2f.jpg

  • Click on Review button on Menu bar.
f75efe8.jpg

  • Click on Translate in the Review tab.
9afda4f.gif

  • A task pane will appear on the right side of the document. Select which language you would like to translate into or the existing language it is in. Here is where you can select which language to translate to or from.
390e7f7.jpg

  • The selected or highlighted text will be translated in the lower part of the task pane. You can get the translation of the same text into different languages instantly as you choose the language under the option of "To".
f372eb9.jpg

If you need to translate the selected text into a language that is not included in the given list, click on Translation options and select the particular language you want.

This helpful feature to translate text in Microsoft Word is very handy. However, there is no substitute for a human professional translator as good and meaningful translation demands comprehension as well as understanding of cultural references, artistic quality and talent. So there are chances that the translation done by a computer program will lack profundity as well as meaning.

Acer mouse is not working

If the lights are on, it means that the power supply is intact. The first thing you should do is reboot your computer.
If the problem persists, try using another mouse. If that does not solve your problem, check the mouse's drivers under device manager, (click on the start button, then select Device manager).
If there is a red or yellow mark beside the mouse, update or reinstall the mouse drivers. Uninstall from Add/Remove Programs(Xp) or Programs and Features (Vista/7).

How to change Epson Lx300+ II Font

The Epson printer is controlled directly by the computer it is connected to. The printer actually has no say in how and what it prints, so if you want to change any aspect of your print document (such as the text) you need to adjust the text in the document you are printing from. This only requires a few clicks of your mouse and once the text style is changed you may begin printing with the next font.
1. Open the program you are printing from and want to change the text font of.

2. Select "File," "Open" (or click the "Open" button on the front of the program), then choose the document you want to print.

3. Click-and-drag over the text you want to change. Once highlighted, click the font type option on the top of the page and choose the new font you want. Once selected, all the highlighted area changes.

4. Click "File," "Print" and choose the Epson Stylus CX5000 as the device you are printing from. Click "OK" and the document will print with the new text.

I hope you find it very helpful.

How do i delete in wordpad?

Highlight the text you want to delete by holding down the left mouse button and dragging the mouse pointer over the text, then let go of the left mouse button.

Now you can just push the DELETE button or the BACKSPACE button on your keyboard.

Or you can use your mouse to place the mouse pointer on that section of highlighted text and then click the RIGHT mouse button once. Then select CUT from the drop down menu options. This will delete that section of text.

Good luck.
