SOURCE: not synching correctly with itunes music folder

I know another way you could try formatting which may fix this problem. Restoreing just restores all the setting to your iPod yes it shoudl format as well but it may not due to an error or something.

To do try it another way follow these steps, first click on "Start" - "My Computer" look for you iPod when it's connect usually called "Removable Disk" once you've found it "Right-click" on it then click on "Format", once format is complete disconnect, then connect it again then run "Update" for your iPod and for iTunes, once you've done that have another attempt.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful in some way. Further problems leave a comment and i will get back to you.

SOURCE: Can't seem to transfer music files to my new MP610-2G

The cobyt player is completely incompatible with iTunes. If you have songs that are in mp3 format, you can use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to your Coby. If your songs are already in AAC (iTunes) format, you can use a free program like Media Monkey to convert UNprotected AAC files to mp3 format so that they will be usable with your Coby. Media Monkey is not capable of converting protected files.

SOURCE: apple icon always on new ipod touch and session could not start

There are two things that you can do, apart from just sending it back. : )

A) Set it back to factory settings:

  1. Press and hold both the Home button and the Power button for a couple of seconds. It should reboot and show the Apple logo. Do not let go.
  2. When the logo comes up, release the Power button. You should only be pressing the Home button now.
  3. After one or two seconds, the original image that was presented on the iPod when you turned it on for the first time will show up: the iTunes logo with a sync cable underneath it.
  4. Connect the iPod to iTunes. It will ask you to restore the iPod. Say yes and begin the whopping 150MB download for the iPod restore app.
  5. Wait a couple of minutes until it does it's thing, then rejoice.

or
B) Do the following (I would only suggest this if the A. does not work)
  1. Plug your Ipod into your computer.
  2. Hold the "Hold" and "Menu" buttons until the screen goes black and shows the Apple logo again, then release the buttons.
  3. Wait for about 5-15 minutes.
  4. Your computer will make a chiming sound and then the Ipod will show the locked screen with the battery logo.

I purchased a used Ipod touch third generation but cant download music or games to it

When it comes to transferring music from computer to iPod touch, iTunes is always the first choice for you. As the official transfer tool, iTunes can help you transfer music to iPod touch easily.

Step 1. Connect your iPod touch to PC via matched USB cable. Then click the iPod icon on the left corner of the interface. To manage your media files manually, you'd better go to "Options" under "Summary" tab, cancel "Automatically sync when this iPod is connected" and check "Manually manage music and videos". Don't forget to click "Apply" when it's done.
Step 2. Import music into iTunes library from computer by clicking "File" and then "Add File to Library". Once transferred successfully, you can select the music icon on top to see all the songs.
Step 3. Click "Music" under "Settings" tab. Choose "Sync Music". You can either sync entire music library or selected playlists as you like. Then click "Sync" button at the bottom to transfer music from computer to iPod.

How tro fix a Error 13019 during syncing your ipod touch with itunes

Select the iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices.

Click the Music tab and deselect the Sync Music option.

Click Apply and then click Sync.

After the sync is complete, reselect the Sync Music option.

Click Apply and then click Sync.

If the Error 13019 occurs while syncing content other than music (applications, podcasts, and so on), then perform the same steps above but uncheck the content that stops syncing with Error 13019.

If the steps above do not resolve the issue, attempt to sync an empty iTunes music library to the device while logged in as a new admin user

My apple iPod shuffle appears in Windows but not in iTunes

Here's how I fixed it:

I downloaded iTunes & Quicktime.

I then uninstalled all the Apple applications (iTunes, Quicktime, MobileMe, Bonjiour, Updates, etc.).

I had to delete the files in the iTunes folder (iTunes Library.itl, iTunes Library Extras.itdb, iTunes Library Genius.itdb, and iTunes Music Library.xml). I don't know if I needed to delete all of them, but I know that the the iTunes Library.itl file is definitely a problem. When I upgraded to 8.2, it updated this file and essentially forced me to delete it and rebuild my music library. This is where my files were located:

C:\Users\USERNAME\Music\iTunes

Also, remember to reboot your PC after all of the uninstalls. I also reset my iPod Touch (not a restore, as the above helped me avoid this, so I did not loose the data on the iPod Touch... though I did have to rebuild the music library.

It was a pain, but certainly worth it to hook up my iPod Touch and have instant connectivity. I don't think I forgot anything, but these are the key things.

One last bit of advice... back up all of your data before you begin, so you can restore the data and music and data.

Download iTunes from Acer notebook to iPod nano 8gb

iPod offers three ways to transfer music from your computer. You can select one of the following update modes from the iPod Preferences menu in iTunes:
1. Automatically update all songs and playlists. This is the default mode, in which your entire music library, including playlists, is automatically synched to your iPod. If the music library on your computer exceeds the iPod storage capacity, iTunes will offer to choose a selection of songs to sync to iPod.
2. Automatically update selected playlists. With this option, iTunes automatically copies only the playlists you have selected to iPod when you connect it to the computer. This option can be selected by accessing the Music tab of the iPod settings.
3. Manually manage music. You can also choose to transfer music to iPod manually. This allows you to drag and drop individual songs and playlists from iTunes to iPod. You can find this option by accessing the Summmary tab of the iPod settings.
