when i try to burn, i cant because a message is displayed saying to connect a burner. my burner was working fine a week ago and its not. i looked under device manager and it shows that it is not enabled. it then ask's if i would like to enable this device? i click yes and it then say's that windows was unable to enable this device. what else can i do?

-   i have an older system, it is a pentium 1 running windows 98se, up untill i tried to burn on a new memorex cd-r every thing was working fine,. but when i tried to burn it froze up, nothing new it happens from time to time, but when i rebooted, the driver i was using, the sony driver that came with the burner, had changed to a HP CD WRITER+9100, and now nothing, i have tried to remove it several times, but no luck, any suggestions?-   Guest
