I'm not sure what the 5c code is however the 5b code means "Sabbath Mode" (Sabbath Mode is a feature that disables portions of the fridge and its controls in accordance with observance of the Sabbath and religious holidays within the Orthodox Jewish community)
You need to press and hold the arrows ("?" on freezer temp and "?" on refrigerator temp) to remove it, if the arrows are not lit up, press them anyway to try and get the fridge out of Sabbath mode. Hold down both arrows for ten seconds to get out of Sabbath mode.
If that does not work, unplug the fridge for 10 minutes, plug back in, and try once again.
Edit: On newer models the press points are different: Sabbath mode is turned ON and OFF by pressing and holding "Control Lock and Power on/off buttons" for five seconds...
My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.
You are in the Sabbath Mode.
The Sabbath Mode is a feature that disables portions of the refrigerator and its controls in accordance with observance of the weekly Sabbath and religious holidays within the Orthodox Jewish community.
Sabbath Mode is turned ON and OFF by pressing and holding "?" on freezer temp and "?" on refrigerator temp for five seconds. The display shows "Sb" while in Sabbath mode.
In the Sabbath Mode, the High Temp alarm is active for health reasons. If a high temperature alarm is activated during this time, for example due to a door left ajar, the alarm will sound intermittently for about 10 minutes. The alarm will then silence on its own and a red high temperature icon will display. The high temp icon will continue to display, even if the door is closed, until the Sabbath mode is exited and the icon reset. The refrigerator will function normally once the door is closed, without any violation of the Sabbath/Holidays.
If this does not solve the problem you have a bad control board.
SB is in "Sabbath Mode". The Sabbath Mode is a feature that disables portions of the refrigerator and its controls . Sabbath Mode is turned ON and OFF by pressing and holding both the freezer "down" and refrigerator "up" indicators for five (5) seconds. The display shows "Sb" while in Sabbath mode.
Here is what the manual for your oven says about control lock.
Let me know if you have questions.
Control Lock The Control Lock shuts down the control panel pads to prevent unintended use of the oven(s). The Control Lock will remain set after a power failure, if set before the power failure. The only time it is not available is during the Sabbath Mode or Self-Clean cycle. When the control is locked, only the TIMER SET · START, TIMER CANCEL, OVEN LIGHT and CANCEL OFF, UPPER OVEN CANCEL / OFF or LOWER OVEN CANCEL / OFF pads will function. On double oven models, CLOCK SET · START will also function. The Control Lock is preset unlocked, but can be locked. To Lock/Unlock Control: Press and hold CONTROL LOCK for about 3 seconds, until “CONTROL LOCK” and a picture of a lock appear on the display. Repeat to unlock and remove “CONTROL LOCK” from the display.
How to Exit the Sabbath Feature

If the oven is cooking, wait for a random
