Turn off supply valves and remove hoses from machine. Look into washer where the hoses were removed from the machine to find the inlet screens. Clean or replace these screens. (usually the cold is the worst) Check to make sure there are no additional screened washers in the hoses which require the same attention. Make sure hoses were not kinked or buldging. Reconnect and turn water back on.

How long does it take to complete a wash cycle

Hello,

In a perfectly normal washer with decent incoming water pressure it should take 3-5 minutes to fill depending on water level size selected.

If what your experiencing is that your washer does fill yet it takes forever the problem is going to be with the water inlet valve.

Takes forever to fill water bearly comes out

The water line valves will need to be replaced. The are electrically operated valves so remove all power before replacing them. They are located under the hood, top rear of the machine.

Kenmore 90 Plus Series washer washer takes forever

is the cold water all the way on?

if so, the first thing to do would be to check the screens in the cold water fill hose and the screen in the cold side of the water valve on the back of the machine. if that is not the problem then replace the water valve.

(turn the water off before taking the hose loose)

Takes forever to do the laundry

If it is taking forever to fill, take the water hoses off the supply and check for clogged filters. Also, if you have low water pressure in your house, or old clogged pipes, your water is running slow.
