Screen problems on laptops come down to three issues. Most common is the inverter, next is the cable that connects the screen to the motherboard and last is the motherboard. If you can see the image on the screen with a flashlight, it is not the cable or the motherboard.
hi considering this works the same way as my htc desire , you should go on settings , then display and then auto-rotate screen , followed by the g-sensor calibration , should be on same page ...put the phone in a flat surface and press calibrate that should solve your htc issues !
ps:regarding the keyboard when you`re texting press the language icon settings ,keyboards types and select qwerty (this works on desire if yours is not the same layout it still should be in message settings )
please rate if useful , it only takes one second .many thanks
Something that is supposed to launch at startup is corrupted. Try booting in Safe Mode - if you can then disable all programs (including security ones) and try again. If now it works you know that it's one of them - enable them one by one till it fails again. If it doesn't work then it's either one of the drivers or Windows itself. Best solution is to reinstall
If you have no support discs & did not make a recoverty disc then you will have to contact the retailer you purchased the laptop from or Acer themselves. You should have documentation that will detail your product key though without this you may have issues getting the genuine copy of vista reinstalled. An alternative would be to buy a copy of windows 7 (if your laptop can take it) as it is far more stable & streamlined than Vista. or get a genuine copy of XP for cheaper.
Its probably also a good idea to take it back to the local computer guy & demand he reinstalls vista or gives you a genuine copy of XP. You can report him to the police for distributing illegal software too.
Actually, in such situations you should use proper driver disk of those hardware devices... if any disk is not available then please download respective drivers from their manufacturers and then update them... I know vista have such issues... so no need to panic... rate if my help works out for you...
Pulled these from a forum:
"No issues except repeat requests to register which are solved by right clicking on the app icon and choosing "Run as Administrator". "
Also, some apps don't work, Adobe ask you to upgrade.(Typical!)
Also some font issues in Photoshop. (First hand info!)
"First of all the Adobe Type Manager no longer works on Windows Vista. We will have to find other ways to manage the font collection."
"For some reason Vista wouldn't let PS CS2 create a folder and install in the default location. I had to choose an alternate location outside the the Adobe folder. I had tried to create the folder first but that didn't work either, do did renaming it."
