SOURCE: Baumatic BDW13 14 dishwasher SHowing E3 Fault

word_answers.gif I had the same problem and changed the two thermostats on the base and got it working. You can get them from partmasters.co.uk (thermostat protector) cost 17.99. They just screw in and are dead easy to fit

SOURCE: error 3 on dishwasher

E3 on BDW45.1 is a failure to reach correct temperature (or the diswasher is unable to dectect the water has reached the correct temperature). You may find the items are not being dried fully.

Hi, I have error message 20 on BDW14 Baumatic. Dishwasher won't start. What does it mean? Thank you..

Error 20 is not a listed error in Baumatic dishwasher. They only mention E1 to E7.

There is a reset procedure for random errors which can be viewed at this page.

Zanussi zsf 6161 dishwasher - won't start program cycle

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
Check Power
Check the outlet by plugging an appliance into the same outlet the washer was plugged into an running the appliance a hair dryer works good for this it will draw some amperage. If it works fine move on.

Control
To check the control remove the top panel and then remove the console to access the wiring to the control. Find the wire feeding the control from the main power cord. If you cannot visually see this refer to the tech sheet or service manual. Connect voltmeter to the 2 wires feeding the control if it is recieving power and it does not respond replace the control

Error code e01

do the following steps: God bless you
To start test program, press and hold both POWER SCRUB PLUS and RINSE & HOLD program buttons, then turn unit on by pressing ON/OFF button. When program buttons are released, lights above them will flash. To end test program, press ON/OFF button. To check program indicator lights (POWER SCRUB PLUS, REGULAR WASH and RINSE & HOLD), press and hold each program button. When REGULAR WASH program button is pressed, CLEAN light also comes on.
To start testing, press both POWER SCRUB PLUS and RINSE & HOLD buttons a second time. When testing has ended and a fault was detected, the following indicator lights will be lit:
POWER SCRUB PLUS = Heater fault
REGULAR WASH = Water filling fault (over or under filling)
RINSE & HOLD = NTC (temperature sensor) fault ? note circulation motor stops shortly after it started during an NTC fault
To check for heater, high limit or flow switch problems, start testing until heating starts. Using a meter with a current coil, measure current going into dishwasher. If current is ~ 11 A, then heater, high limit and flow switch are OK. If current stays at ~ 1.5-2 A, then heater, high limit or flow switch are faulty.
If water level switch (f1) has failed (opened), REGULAR WASH light will come on and unit will continually fill and drain where testing won't be completed. If flow switch (e5) has failed (opened), water won't heat (to 150?F) and water won?t stop circulating. If NTC probe (f2/f4) has failed (opened), RINSE & HOLD light will come on immediately and testing will end shortly after water has started circulating.
If more than one fault occurs, more than one light will be lit.

My dishwasher won`t start. NO light are open. The electrical power it's ok.

It is possible that themachine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback fromthe inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller mustinitiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to workwhen it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at thesepoints must be checked or the faultrelates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is asuspect.Check howto remove the control panel: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1287/how-to-replace-a-hotpoint-dishwasher-fascia-p.html If thewater flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or thereis dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Whatis most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switchmust be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting themotor. The water pressure must be good and the spraying must be seen to begood. If there is low pumping or pressure then the spray arms will not turnaround to inject with pressure. If sothe pump must be checked for clogging. To replacecheck this link:http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1293/how-to-replace-the-spraying-system-on-a-dishw.html Finallyafter the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to comein to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain offall the water.Make surethat a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so checkthe command from the program module and then the executing device be it thevalve or motor or pump. Error code 4 on baumatic bkd64ss what does this mean ?

Baumatic E4 error is caused by a float switch triggering in the sump of the machine. Anything over about 1/2 a pint in the bottom of the machine will lift the polystyrene float and the fault code will show. If the water has been caused by over enthusiastic cleaning or a drip or two over time then all that is required is for the water to be removed. For a built in machine (DISCONNECT THE POWER) then just unclip the front bottom right hand black plastic cover (behind your kitchen kickboard). Using a jcloth or similar mop up and the fault will clear. Replace the cover and restore the power and kickboard.

Error code e4

This might be a re-badged generic dishwasher - on my Baumatic E4 error caused by floatswitch in bottom catch tray. Some (supposedly small amount) water collects here and should evaporate naturally. If it accumulates, float rises and stops machine.

TURN OFF THE POWER

try to find a way into the machine base catch-tray to sponge it out - on the Baumatic there are two large black plastic plugs on the front of the machine base that can be forcibly flipped out.

failing that, take machine out and tip it up to get rid of water

BAUMATIC BFD47SS dishwasher won't start

Sounds like the water inlet solenoid valve is not opening. Not easy to get at to test, but if water is available at the hose inlet connection as you say there isn't anything else stopping water entering the wash cabinet.

Shouldn't be a lengthy repair - so I'd recommend getting a quote.
