Question about Whirlpool Dryers
After some frustrating searching, I finally found the manual for this dryer on the www.whirlpool.co.uk website. The URL for this manual is:
One thing that the manual does not show (probably think it so evident that there was no need to mention) is how to open the vent panel at the front bottom of the dryer. Let me save you accidently breaking or cracking it to get it open. OPEN THE DRYER DOOR AND PUSH DOWN THE BLUE BUTTON YOU SEE ON THE LOWER RIM - this will POP the vent door open!! Simple, but not obvious to me!!

This is something that I've never seen before. The user manual I downloaded from http://www.whirlpool.co.uk/app.cnt/whr/en_GB/pageid/pgsrvifuhome001 indicates something about cleaning a heat exchanger. I suppose that's what you are talking about. The instructions for same are in that mnual.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service
