2006 Passat 3.6 Relay J271 ECU Location Look Everywhere But Cant Seem To Locate

if there is no legend on the relay cluster cover makes it very hard to locate

J271 varies from model to model, but once you have the relay out, check one of its sides for the diagram of the pin outs. The solenoid 12V supply will always be marked as 85, the negative always as 86, the normally open (N/O) contact as 87, the normally closed (N/C) as 87a and the pin marked 30 is always the switching voltage supply. Notice that terminals of 87 and 30 are always larger than the other terminals. Connect the relay solenoid to a battery with clip leads and measure the voltage at 87 and 87a, and that it changes over when you hear the relay click. Alternatively do a continuity test between pin 30 and 87, then again between 30 and 87a. Then connect power to the solenoid and the continuity measurement should switch over to the other pin. Unlike the image above, there may be even be more than 1 double pole double throw switch contacts on the relay depending on the model of your car. The Audi J271 is different to some VW's and has more terminals.

How to remove a forgotten PIN from Garmin Nuvi satnav

Nearly every day there's a question asked by Garmin Nuvi satnav owners as to how to change or remove their PIN which they have forgotten. Ideally you should use a PIN that you will never forget or save it somewhere you can get access to it again if you do forget it. However we all make mistakes and so a lot of users end up on this website looking for a solution.

1.
When you set your PIN you get an option to set a Security Location. When you set this your satnav must have satellite reception. When you forget your PIN you go to your Security Location and the satnav will start up without you having to enter the PIN, provided you have a satellite connection. As you cannot see the signal strength bar until you get past the PIN entry screen you won't know if it has accessed satellites or not so you need to give it a while. Also as GPS is not one hundred percent accurate you may need to move around five to ten metres in a gradually widening circle from the security location. This gives you a better chance of getting the exact spot. If all is well your satnav should open but the PIN is still set. To remove the PIN when you get your satnav started
  • Press TOOLS
  • Then press SETTINGS (or LOCALE on some models which don't have the SETTINGS icon)
  • Press SECURITY
  • Press GARMIN LOCK ON
  • Press OFF
  • Press OK
Your PIN is now removed. If you want to set a new PIN
  • Press TOOLS
  • Then press SETTINGS (or LOCALE on models that don't have a settings icon)
  • Press SECURITY
  • Press GARMIN LOCK OFF
  • Press ON
  • Enter your new PIN
  • Press OK
You then get the option to set a new security location. Again be sure you have a satellite connection.

2. If you have forgotten your PIN but either have not set a security location or forget where it is the only option is to return it to Garmin to get it removed. You must send proof of ownership along with the satnav if you're returning it as the PIN is there to protect satnav owners from thieves. If you need to return the satnav to Garmin you can get their contact details at http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/site/us/support/supportcontact

I need to recover the pin of my router

You mean the pin code to access your internet? There is a reset button that will reset the password/pin to default, but you have to locate the reset button.

Need a new power supply for a soyo mother board Crown model fp-

All you need to know is if your motherboard has a 24-pin or 20-pin power connector. You can just count the pins if you don't know. There connector is located on the motherboard. It looks like this: moondogwst75_3.jpg

So if it's a 24-pin, order a 24-pin power supply. If it's 20-pin, order 20-pin. Hope this helps!

WIRING DIAGRAM FOR TOWBAR ELECTRICS WOULD EXPECT TO BE COMMON BUT MODEL IS A 1994 MITSUBISHI PAJERO

Hi There.
here are the 7 cable locations and pin numbers.
Pin 1 Yellow L/H Direction Indicator
Pin 2 Blue Rear Fog Lamps
Pin 3 White Earth Return
Pin 4 Green R/H Direction Indicator
Pin 5 Brown R/H Tail & No, Plate Light
Pin 6 Red Stop Lamps
Pin 7 Black L/H Tail & No, Plate Lights

I found the easiest way to locate the correct wires in the loom is to turn on the lights required and use a circuit tester and splice into the main loom where you have enough wire to play with. Try not to cut the loom as it only causes more problems with bad connections and joins.
Good Luck

Sanyo VM-RZ2R camcorder cassette not releasing

I'm sorry I don't know the location of the pin in this unit, just that there should be a small pin that presses the release mechanism. I couldn't find any on line service manuals or breakdown diagrams for this model. I did find several sites where you can purchase a service manual for it. here's a link to the Google search I did for the service manual, it lists several places that sell it.

To reset, you have to go to the home location. That is the security location.

The only other solution to unlock this model GPS is to send it to Garmin with the proof of purchase. They are the only ones who can unlock your GPS. If you read the instruction booklet that came with the GPS, they expain the same thing I am indicating here. Call the Garmin support for details.
