HI, Remove the cover at the top hinge. YOu will find three scrws holding the hinge. Remove those and the door will lift stright up. The freezer side will have a water tube and wire harness. Unplug the harness and there should be a fitting to release the water line' I hope the helps. Please let me know if I an assist you further.

Thanks

Sorry, don't know the exact size. Sometimes you can use an allen wrench/hex head set.

Phillips screwdriver and 1/4" socket. First unscrew the plastic covers at the top outside corner of each door then remove the bolts under the covers. Disconnect the cable leading to the left foor. The doors lift off. After the refrigerator is moved, reverse the process. Note: it is easier to move the refrigerator when it is empty.

The freezer door is not closing well, and therefore it stays partially opened increasing the freezer temperature sometimes to 30 degrees or more.

Jose,
One of the things that I do when I install refrigerators & freezers, is to raise the front of the unit about an inch so that it tips towards the back. What I normally do is lift up the front of the refrigerator and stick a screwdriver handle under the front edge and then lower either the legs or the front wheels until they touch the floor and then remove the screwdriver handle. Hope this helps!

Ge profile artica refrigerator door will not close

clip on bottom of hinge is worn or broken had mine replaced. magnetic seals are not strong enough to hold the door closed on their own. Original problem was the magnets were too strong so the clip on the bottom hinge was added.

How to change the door gasket o a GE Profile French door refrigerator. The clip at the top is broken and it is part of the gasket. Not a very robust design.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT USE TOO MUCH PRESSURE ON THE DOOR LINER, AS IT IS FRAGILE, AND HARD TO GET AND DIFFICULT TO INSTALL. JUST WORK YOUR WAY AROUND WITH GASKET SLOWLY, AND ONCE IT IS SECURED THEN CAREFULLY USE A HAIR DRYER TO REMOVE ALL CREASES AND ROUGH CONTACT EDGES ON GASKET AND LIGHTLY SECURE THE GASKET AS THE LINER IS PLASTIC/PVC. IF UNSURE GET A PROFESSIONAL TO INSTALL.

I have a GE Profile PSS26MSW and need to replace the front of one of the side-by-side doors.

You can not replace the skin of the door. You have to order a stripped down door and it will come with no SEAL on it, No HANDLES, and no SHELVES. You can transfer all those parts to the new door.

A hint.... If you have a garage, the Stainless Door cover, when installed on your garage work bench, (recessed) will make a great, excellent work bench. A lot of handy-man types love this application. Helps take the sting out of the cost too.

Good luck,

Jim

Need doors for GE profile TFH24PR refrigerator

Complete doors can usually be purchased from GE themselves for models which had problems with sweating on the exterior. Other models I'm not sure it's possible to get.
