Pressure builds to about 220 then cuff pressure drops off
And something flashes in the bottom left corner of the screen. I push the button and the flasher disappears; I push it, again, and the cuff pressurizer starts again; when it gets to 220 or so, the pressurizer stops and the cycle repeats.

Re: pressure builds to about 220 then cuff pressure drops...
These cuff-type BP meters are very unreliable; I have bought 4 (one standard type) so far and the one that is still working predictably measures about 10% low.
I took it to my GP on an office visit and we compared the systolic & diastolic results and although three different methods/instruments (manual, upper arm portable digital and a stand mounted 'professional') also tracked poorly, mine (Samsung) measured lower than all other methods.
I suspect the sensor that should be doing the measuring is faulty.

Re- set code!!!! We have a Takagi TH3 DV 540 model.Air intake got blocked with snow, condensation etc.Once we cleared that then you just have to re-set it to clear the 991. On our model there are 4 tiny buttons across the bottom (Take off front cover) to find them. of the computer board assembly bottom left corner. Push the two buttons on the right simultaneously hold for 15-20 seconds or so, then turn the Takagi off then on again- should work now! If you have a different model then those buttons will be in the bottom left corner still but running vertically- try doing as above with the bottom two buttons. We had to go without heat and hot water for 2 days until we could get hold of someone to tell us this. We called Seneca Supply 716-852-4744. Good luck
hold the left, bottom button (marked ....) for a few seconds....then press the top right button (marked with 1 dot) to change between the hour, minute, date etc. use the bottom right button to advance the flashing number, and when finished setting time and date, use the bottom left button to stop the numbers flashing and return the watch to normal. hope this helps, this is also how to change the date for the other question asker
I have one. It's easy. Push the program button. The little green light in the lower left corner will flash. The only tricky part is that you only have about 3 seconds to begin setting your time. After that the light stops flashing and you will be changing the regular time. While you are pushing the Hour or Minute buttons you have all the time you need to set your brew time, but once you stop you're back to the 3 second timer. Remember, if the light in the upper left side is on, the time is PM. To turn the timer on, push the Auto button and the little light in the lower left will come on and stay on. To turn it off, just push the Auto button again. Another caution, there is no "safety" for the Hour and Minute buttons. If you push either of those buttons while the lower left light is flashing you are changing the brew start time. If it is not flashing you are changing the real time. In other words, if you push either of those buttons at any time, you are always changing something. Happy brewing.
I was able to do this by 1st pushing and holding the M button and then pushing and holding the on button and holding both for 3-4 sec. Once released you will see the month flashing. change by pushing the M key to desired month then toggle to day etc with the on button
Take out the hard drive completely and then see if you hear the clicking noise, if you do then that means the hard drive is bad. Also if it goes right to another message and you don't see the blinking cursor then that also verifies that the hard drive was bad and causing the system to hang.
most likely when you dropped it on the concrete floor the compact of it hitting the floor has either jarred something on the inside of it and has caused it to not work properly or find the papers to the machine and restart the directions for it. i hope that something i have said may work, good luck!
