Panasonic TV - no picture, but sound is ok

I have the exact same problem.  I did not get the vertical section thing.....what is it and how do I fix it???  Like do you take the TV apart????

I have a panasonic ct-36hx40b year 01 very finicky have done - cable conn. unplugged for an hour still nothing left on in about 10 min turned it self off then on dark pic played w/ brightness tint pic. temp to norm and had good pic afraid to turn off hope it's fix finger's crossed. any help will be appreciated ps. love my tv pretty handy have tools elc. volt omen meter

I have no picture but the sound is on. It isa Panasonic TV,\. It is hooked up to cable and I just changed the box

Mine is doing it too. Jiggle the cable connection to temporarily fix. Getting worse.

I have a panasonic CT-27G32V and there is no picture, but we have sound. Before it went out completely, there would be a thin white horizontal line across the screen. Initially the thin white line would spread to the entire screen and the picture would return, but now the entire screen stays black. What to do? and is it worth repairing?
