Question about Whirlpool 21.0 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator with IceMagic Plus Ice Maker
I know that I have an issue with my freezer not draining properly, because it has been developing ice on the floor and dripping into the fridge etc. I have removed the back wall of the freezer to expose the coil etc but I cant locate the drain hole to try and unclog it.
Does anyone know where the drain hole is located exactly in the freezer? any help GREATLY appreciated.
The hole is located in the middle of the coils or on the end. See the slope of the collection tray right under the coils. Might be hard to find because the ice would be blocking it. So take some table salt say two spoon fulls and place in the middle of the collection tray to melt the ice. Will melt fast. Then flush out with small amount of water. Be sure your frig is unplugged and remove the back panel. Let me know if you need anymore help.
