Hi,

Please remove all extra devices (ie video game console, dvd platyer) and turn on your tv again. If not working, please attempt to change channels on your remote or remotes.

If still not working, please setup the tv like you did when you first bought it. Thank you.

There are several ways to change your video input source for the E421VO. First: the lowest button on the side of the TV will cycle through the inputs. (The power button is the top button.) The original remote has the Input button to the left of the Zero button at the bottom left of the number area. With both just press the key multiple times to go through all of the inputs. Alternatively, press the Menu button and look for the Source sub-menu. Use the arrow keys to move to the chosen menu. (On the TV, the menu button is below the power button. On the remote, Menu is the button to the top right above the arrow keys.) If you are using a universal remote, you may need to find one that matches the Input or Menu functions for your TV. A different code may help if the remote has either button. Otherwise, you'll need a different remote.

I'm not sure whether you can get this remote control to sync: with Sony blu-ray player. If there is a set-up code to Sony; with this remote control; you can. In order to help you out with this, I would need to know which input you are attempting to use, what the source content is and what kind of cable(s) you have hooked up to the target input.

I have a 37 inch vizio and had the same problem. After a little web research, I came across a suggestion that the LG codes might work. I tried it and found that the code 19 worked. You might try that. If 19 doesn't work for you, one of the other LG codes might (they are 06, 21, 22, 23 or 78).
