Re: droped

Ummm bad idea, direct sunlight will warp the motherboard and weather the black plastic. The best thing for water damage is placing the phone in a bowl of rice. The rice will draw the water, and not damage any other components. After about 2 days you should perform a master reset if you can figure out how to do that.

Re: droped

this might be because the water has entered in the inbuilt software of ur do one thing open ur phone as much as  as u can..put it in sunlight for 2-3hrs continuously will dry up all the water/moisture  from ur phone and then try  & if it doesnt work than u need to go to service centre.

I feel your pain. My g1 droped, the screen cracked, now 3 weeks later my screen turns black. Not even turning it off or removing the battery for hours changes this. However, i found if you wiggle the screen just right sometimes you can get your screen back... for a little bit.

I droped my black jack phone and the screen is completly off.what can I do?

Try to open ur unit... if its too complicated dont do so.. but if u could try to check the ribbon or wire maybe its just loose.. it is the most usual damage that droping may do..

Dropped BB in the rain

it would be best to take the phone now and have a mobile tech look and diagnose the problem to get it back in working don't really want to take chances with a phone that has been in contact with water.

I have the same phone and this also happened to me. When you droped the phone the battery got dislodged from the battery compartment. Unplug the cell phone then remove the back of the phone. To do that press the button at the back of the cell phone at the button, slide the cover up ward. Then remove the battery for at least 30 seconds then put it back in again. Put the bottom of the battery in first then the top ,make sure the battery is in firmly. Replace the cover then turn it on again.

Sidekick II reset:
Drain your battery until your phone refuses to turn on, then charge it, the privacy lock should be off.

Press and hold the Menu key (the one with 3 lines) + the shift key and finally the "Q" key all at once.

Okay so you're at the privacy lock screen.
Okay press the Menu key and the Phone Mode key (the one with the circles) at the same time.
This should take you to emergency phone calls

Hold down the Back key (the one with the arrow) DON'T LET IT GO.

Now press MENU and PHONE MODE at the same time, now let go the BACK KEY

Then press BACK again and let go of MENU and PHONE.
Now press MENU and PHONE again and then let go of BACK.

It takes like 3 times to unlock it
but it always works.
