If there's only a single sub-out RCA cable, you have two options. The amp may have a manual switch that puts it in Mono mode, in which case you only use 1 of the 2 RCA jacks. The other option is to go get an RCA splitter. This will take your single sub-out cable and feed the exact same signal to both left/right of your amp. Either way, you get the same result. If the 1200W amp is for your sub(s) only, you should set the high-pass filter and subsonic filters to help your bass "hit harder" and cleaner.

I have 2 MA AudioMA100XE 600 watt woofers and a 1500watt monoblock amp hooked up to them now. they dont hit as hard as my old 800 watt ma audio amp that blew. why is that?

mono block anps are usually rated at lower impedance.
if your subs are dual 4 ohm , i'd wire all v/cs in parallel for a 1ohm load... unless the amp is all chromed up, than that rating is probably a WLS rating(when lightning strikes)... if the box says anaba group it typically does half of what it advertises.. :-(

Just bought 2 12 in d3 dual 2 ohm subs with d5 600.4 amp. Need to know how to wire subs. They were in a box already I assumed they were wire at 2 o When i hooked One up to my amp it hit really for Jus...

what wattage are the subs and amp? if your subs are more wattage than your amp, your amp will blow fuses as cant handle the output to your subs. for example. you have 2 500 watt subs and a 300 watt amp, that is no good as amp isnt powerful enough. if you have 2 500 watt subs you need at least a 1200 watt amp to power them both. 200 watt more than the combined wattage of subs as amps should never be turned up to max as they tend to blow and overheat more quickly. 80% volume on amps is reccomended by installers and manufactures.

If my woofers at bridged and my and is too but it

first you dont bridge both ,, 2nd you will need to find out what ohms your speakers are , and if dual coil what ohms each coil is ,, then find out what ohms your amp runs at , at full power.. then try to match your subs to the same ohm load,, REMEMBER there are diff ways onto how to hook subs on which will change the ohms.. good example 1 dual coil sub each coil is 2 ohms then you can hit a 1 ohm or 4,, depending how you hook them up .. When adding more subs and how you hook them up changes the whole game.. if your not sure on how to hook them up read a manual or go to a local shop you can burn your subs up or worst the amp if hooked up incorrectly ..

Hello gonenutz14,

It depends on how you define the "best way". Driving each sub with a separate 750 watt amp will result in about 50 percent more power than having them share the output from a single 1000 watt amp. But with 2 amps, there's more wiring issues to contend with and the adjustments are more complex. The 2 750 watt amps will cost more than a single 1000. Plus if the 1000 watt amp is stable to 1 ohm, the power difference will actually be less than 50 percent because of the lower impedance. But if the 750 watt amps are also stable to 1 ohm and their outputs can be combined, we're back to 2 being better than 1.

I'd say that the simplest, most economical way is to use a single amp. If maximum power to the subs is the highest priority, and cost and wiring is not an issue, then 2 is better.

Hope this helps.

How do I fix the problem so they work again.?

A 1000 WATT AMP HAS PROBABLY GONE INTO PROTECTION MODE BECAUSE YOU ARE TRYING TO RUN 1600 WATT SUBS COMBINED

try to find a the specs for a box for those subs. A box has a great deal to do with highs, mids and lows.

High distortion

The head unit may be rated at 200 watts but it cannot produce more than ~20 watts of real power per channel. There's no way that it can drive the high end speakers to a level that will be needed to compete with the subs on a 1000 watt amplifier.
