I need solution for this problem immediately I installed windows 7 in my PC. after that in My PC DVD RW is not working.

Was the Windows 7 installed from a clean slate or you upgraded from Vista to Windows 7? If you have upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, then this is definitely a driver problem. You can try to update the driver by going to Device Manager, check if the DVD drive is listed. Pull down the drop down list, and right click on the devices listed under DVD/CD-ROM Drives and choose Update Driver Software.
If the DVD drive came with a software bundle (e.g. Nero Burning Application) Try reinstalling these application under Windows 7 Environment.

I'vd got not driver

Windows 2000 and XP and Vista and 7 have "built-in" device-drivers to allow you to read "data" files from CD and/or DVD drives.

However, you need software, such as 'PowerDVD' in order to "play" pre-recorded audio/video content recorded on DVD media.

See: http://www.CyberLink.com for information about 'PowerDVD' software.

Realtek audio not working

This is not an uncommon issue with many motherboards. There is a work-around. Lets "not" use the CD to install the audio driver software. Open the link provided by Intel;
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18138&ProdId=2838&lang=eng
Create a folder on your desktop & name the folder, Audio. From the link above. Save the file named, AUD_allOS_5939_PV_RTL.exe, into the Audio folder. Open control panel. Than open Add/Remove programs.
Find the current Audio driver software & uninstall it. Now open the Audio folder & right click once on the file, AUD_allOS_5939_PV_RTL.exe. A pop-up window will open. Left click once on, Extract to here. Close all opened windows & restart your system.
As your system begins to start up press the F2 key to enter the bios menu. Make sure your audio setting is set to [Enable]or to [AC97]. Save & exit the bios. The system will auto restart.
When windows finishes loading, open windows device manager.
Look through the icons listed. If you see, unknown PCI device or an upside down yellow pair shaped icon with an explanation point in it. This will be your missing audio driver software.
Right click once on the explanation point, or unknown PCI device. A window will open & Left click once on “update driver”. Windows hardware wizard will open. Click No, not at this time. Than click the next button. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button. Again, another window will open. We want to remove the green check mark next to, Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...). Left click on the green check mark once & it will go away.
Click the browse button, click the + sign next to my computer. Find the “Audio” folder on your desktop. Left click once on the Audio folder so it is highlighted.
Than click OK.
Windows will search within the folder & install the correct driver software. If by some chance windows does not, repeat the above & open the Audio folder. Find the “setup.exe” & click on it once. Than click, OK. Windows should install the driver. Close all opened windows & restart your system. Test your audio. To setup the Mic open windows control panel & open Sounds and Audio Devices

Good luck!

Vista cannot find dvd player but says driver is updated

Right click on Computer->Manage->Device Manager->DVD/CD Rom drives. Select your DVD device from the list on the right hand side. Right click on it and select "Uninstall". Reboot your machine. On start up and after loggin in, your PC should go through the process of detection, installation and configuration of your "newly" found DVD device. Good luck!

After installing vista service pack 1 my dvd rom is gone.

I would try stopping the device and restarting it first.

If that doesn't work, find the latest drivers for it, and have them in a folder you can find easily. In device manager, you can right click, go into properties for the DVD-ROM. Click the update drivers button, and point it to that directory.

If neither of those work ,try completely uninstalling it from device manager, then going through the add new hardware option in control panel.

Download the latest driver for dvd rom from Acer that will work with Vista SP1. Also try uninstalling the device in device manager and restart your computer. Vista may find "new hardware" and install the driver from its driver pack in SP1.

Toshiba DVD ROM SD M1302 driver

If you are using Windows 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, NT or XP, and have an ATAPI/IDE CD/DVD drive, there is no driver needed (see Toshiba statement I have posted below). Under no circumstances, if DVD is properly installed and functional, will you need ANY driver!

If your DVD drive is a SCSI drive, then it may need drivers specific to the SCSI card you have installed (see the specs/manual or website for your card). You may also need the Adaptec SCSI setup, available at this address:

http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/suppbyproduct.jsp?sess=no&language=English+US&cat=%2FTechnology%2FSCSI+Software&fromPage=driverindex

or use this address if you have a LOGIC based SCSI card or device:

http://www.lsilogic.com/

Now, if you meet the criteria for the first paragraph I wrote, and your PC does not load the driver automatically (after a reboot or two) then you have a PHYSICAL or HARDWARE problem. Either the DVD drive is improperly cabled, improperly installed or defective.

Those are all your options. See below, from Toshiba website
good luck

ATAPI CD-ROM and DVD Drivers

Toshiba's CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives do not require any unique device drivers for Windows '95/'98/2000/XP/NT.
After installing your drive and re-booting, your system should recognize your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. Win '95/'98/2000/XP/NT Operating Systems support all Toshiba ATAPI CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives natively.

DOS/Windows 3.x Device Drivers

This device driver is to be used with DOS/Windows 3.x operating systems. Do not use this driver with Windows '95, Windows '98, XP or Windows 2000 unless you are going to use your system in the REAL or MS-DOS Modes. Device drivers for Windows '95, Windows '98, Windows 2000, XP, OS/2, and NT operating systems are provided with the installation or setup software of each operating system.

DOS ATAPI Interface Driver
If you prefer using DOS click the link below to download a MS-DOS ATAPI interface driver.
atapi.exe

SCSI CD-ROM and DVD Drivers

SCSI interface drivers are written for the SCSI card you are using in your system, by the SCSI card manufacturer. They are not specific to your Toshiba drive and are not provided by Toshiba. If during installation Windows can not find the correct SCSI software driver for your SCSI card and you do not have the software driver that came with your SCSI card, contact your SCSI host adapter manufacturer.
