How to add calling card 800# and PIN to expedite LD calling.

I disconnected my long distance carrier, and am just going to use my phonecard to make long distance calls from home. How can I put the MCI phonecard 800 number, and the pin number on quick-dial stored on my panasonic handset....to expedite my longdistance calls? When I use the phonebook to dial the 800 ##, I need to push another key for the pin...while on the same call....the phonebook doesn't seem available when I am already on the line.

When storing a calling card access number and your PIN in the
phonebook as one phonebook item, press {PAUSE} to add pauses after the number and PIN as necessary. Or, if stored as separate entries, during a call, press MENU, press 1 to select “Phonebook”, and scroll up or down to find the entry and press Call. Repeat to dial other numbers.

Unlock puk code on my phone

Hi,

I'm sometimes accused of not giving short answers. However, my philosophy is that too much is better than too little.

Still with me?

This is generic because I don't know your carrier. I'm using AT&T as an example. Most carriers use the same procedure but the wording may differ.

A PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code is required to unlock SIM cards that have become locked following three successive incorrect PIN entries. If your SIM card becomes locked, you will need to get a PUK code from your carrier. For example, if you have AT&T to unlock your SIM card, you can obtain your phone's PUK code from AT&T by:

? logging in to your my wireless Account online
? using their Technical Support Chat
? calling Customer Care at 1-800-331-0500

To get your phone's PUK code online from ATT:

? Log in to your my wireless Account.
? Select My Services under My Account.
? From the My Services screen, select My Phone/Device.
? Select Unblock SIM Card.
? The Unblock SIM screen will display your PUK code.

Once you receive your PUK code, you will need to enter it into your phone to set a new PIN code.

Note: If you enter the wrong ATT PUK code 10 times in a row, your SIM card will be invalidated, and you will need to purchase a new SIM Card. The phone will display the following error: "PUK blocked call operator."

I trust that this is helpful and solves your problem. All the best

I can not access my phone it is asking for a p.u.k code and im having problems figureing it out

A PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code is required to unlock SIM cards that have become locked following three successive incorrect PIN entries. If you are with AT&T you can obtain your phone's PUK code from AT&T by logging into Mywireless or by calling customer care @ 1-800-331-0500. If you are with another carrier you can call customer service. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

I just purchased an intellifax 2820. I cannot send a fax out of state. I can send in the state. What could the problem be?

Plug a regular phone into the fax jack and dial an out of state long distance number. If you listen carefully, it will probably tell you that you have not selected a long distance carrier. For fun, you can also dial 1-700-555-4141 and listen to the "no pic" message. Now call someone and get an LD carrier.

Using a calling card for a long distance fax

It will surely help if you are using a calling card that has a pinless dialing feature where you don't need to dial your pin. I use Onesuite.com calling card and it has that feature and sending a fax through regular fax machine is easier than having to dial your pin midpoint.
