Ive been told that the cord needs to be replaced but it has been in the shop for 2 months now. Im finding that the kirby parts are hard to get. Im not getting any satisfaction as promised when i 1st purchased my kirby. Make sure that everything is latched and closed, also make sure it is even on the floor (also "lock" anything that needs to be-i had the same prob, so many things to check!)
