Hello nehajo88, Thank you for contacting us. I work in the FINIS Technical Support department and would strongly recommend that you go to our support page and create a ticket so we can process you for a replacement as it seems to be a defective unit. So please visit our support page (http://www.finisinc.com/support/) and create a ticket and I will be happy to further process your case there. Thanks!
How long did you let it charge, when the device is completely drained of power it may not turn on at first when you connect it. Let it charge for a little while and come back to see if it fixes it. Failing that, your probably going to have to contact apple for warranty help.
my sony won't turn on either...think this is a flaw in this model. Talked to sony and said i might need a battery..joke until i send it and if it's only a battery it's still more than it's worth to fix..I liked the player but will never buy nothing again from sony. I know it was not expensive but only had it 3 months.
I had this very same problem. To fix this problem you have to re-flash your RCA MP3 player with the following file: http://download.rca.com/download/RD1022_...
My RCA Model RD 1072a as worked fine since flashing the player with this file.
