Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Free flowing regulator

If free flow from the moment the unit is pressurized it could be the 1st stage intermediate pressure (IP) is too high or the second stage valve seat is missing, set screw is too loose, seat is damaged or has debris on it. If the free flow gradually increases under pressure it usually indicates a damaged 1st stage valve seat. A trained Mares Tech with the correct tools and genuine parts would be the best solution.

My Mares Prestige S octopus is leaking air under water from the mouthpiece in as low bubble rate. Shoud it be ajustued and how

It may be that you have picked up a little bit of sand or grit, give it a good vigorous wash in the bath. Often octo's get dragged along the bottom and get rubbish in them. If it does need adjusting I strongly recommend you get a professional to do it. :)

How can I remove the 3m safety stop on my mares Nemo Titanium?

Sorry you cant, The 3Mtr stop alarm is possibly the most important alarm on your computer to avoid you getting the bends. If you take your safety stop just below 3mtrs for the correct amount of time then the alarm wont sound. If you ignore this alarm and dont complete your safety stop you run the risk of DSC. Hope that helps

Just got my mares proton reg back from servic it was fine before just been a year so got it serviced it is now free flowing is there a way to adjust this

Hi,

Personally, I wouldn't touch it. This should have been tested in the service so I'd get back to them and have them rectify this as it seems to be something they did..

Trying to fit to Mares BC. Is this possible?

Depends on how big you are and how big the BC is. If you have an
XL B.C. and it's still too small, well, diet and exercise or use a back mount BC. Just remember that your BC should lift MORE than the amount of weight you wear, including your cylinder and other gear.

I have a Dacor airtrim BC. The oral inflate tube checkvalve is leaking. I need a new valve.

it may be dirty. you can unscrew the valve and see if any dirt or sand is keeping it from sealing.

Dacor Viper regulator leaks water

Pressure inside 2nd stage should be the same as ambient so no water should enter. Maybe should adjust to freeflow and then a nough
back until free flow just stop. careful your reg will now be very sensitive.
Another problem could be a worn exhaust valve - change a new one, see if it helps.
Good luck,
