Can't shut off closed caption no remote

hi,
For switching off the closed caption option do the following.

1. Press CC on the remote.
• This will present the Closed Caption information display.

2. Press CC while the Closed Caption information is
still on the screen.
• Press repeatedly until you select the desired closed
caption service as OFF.

Vheck the menu items from the TV itself on some models you can get to the CC from there, sometimes not.

Look at the tv bazel frame at the bottom of the tv have manual controls buttons look for button said Menu.Push that button go into tv menu look for functions said close captioning turn it on to CC1,2,3 so on.Now tv with programming have CC logo should have close captioning.Or try website like Remotes.com to buy an exact remote as ur original remote.

Don't know on the Sanyo, but most TVs let you turn off the CC via the remote, either by a CC listing on the remote itself, or by going to the menu (menu button) which shows on the TV screen, then working your way through the menu to the closed captioning. That should let you turn it on or off.

you need original remonte control to do that if in the front panel of your tv dont have menu button

Go into the setup menu and turn off closed captioning there, or just restore the factory presets. I believe this model has a menu button on the front of the tv.

look on top and behind of the monitor you will find buttons for your TV then follow this steps: The Setup menu lets you configure the TV to fit its surroundings and your preferences. To access the Setup menu, press MENU, and then select Setup from the Main Menu.closed caption options are: CC Setting Lets you choose the way closed captioning information appears on the screen. Off No captioning information displayed. On Always Captioning information shown always, when available. On When Muted Displays captioning information, when available, whenever the TV?s sound is muted by pressing the MUTE button. The captioning information is not displayed when the sound is not muted. Make sure all of the options for closed caption are off press exit and you are good to go.
