I cannot transfer pictures from IPhoto to Facebook because it will not accept my password & e-mail address

First, you need to have a working email address. If you don't have one, signup for an account at https://mail.yahoo.com

Just click create new account. Then follow the instructions on the page.

Jot down your email & password when are successfully done.

Or else, skip the instructions above if you already have an email address.


Now, go to www.facebook.com

Fill up the fields:



Note: it is recommended that your facebook password is different from your email password you created earlier.

When you are successfully done with facebook, login back to your email at https://mail.yahoo.com

Use the first password you successfully created earlier.

Check your inbox, open your email from facebook, then click the link that says verify your account.

RECAP: 1. You created two accounts, a Yahoo mail account & a Facebook account; 2. Yahoo & Facebook have separate passwords; 3. You use your Yahoo Email to logon to Facebook.

Is actually a Software issue. However, I would check that IPhoto has the SAME login to access FaceBook that you use to log into your FaceBook account with. Else, contact IPhoto (if it's a software piece OR the Makers of the App if it's a Cell-phone app). Also try support on FaceBook.

Facebook does not want you to change your password. Maybe, you would have been introduced to a phishing site that resembles more like facebook, but isn't. When you enter your password into that fake facebook site, your username & password are mailed to the person who created it. He will then use it to do either identity forge or for some fun. So, be careful enough to note the URL www.facebook.com in the address bar, before entering your username & password.

How do I use a security question for me to enter my account?
If you are unable to access your Facebook account, you may have the option of returning to your account through a security question answer. Here's how:
Click on the link Forgot your password? On the home page to Facebook.
Follow the steps on this page to get to know your account. If you are able to access any of the e-mail addresses shown on your account, you can request to send a new password to the e-mail addresses this.
If you do not have access to any of the e-mail addresses associated with your account, press on the link no longer have access to these titles? Down the list of email addresses. Follow the directions set out to answer the security question to regain access to your account.

Click on 'forgot your password' in www.facebook.com.Follow the instructions,after a few seconds they sent a mail to your email ID.
Read the instructions carefully & click on the link that help you to change the password.

Log out, then go to http://www.facebook.com/reset.php
Enter your e-mail address to be sent a new password, then log into facebook with the new password and change your password in Account Settings to your old password.
