Question about Refrigerators
We have a Sears Kenmore upright refrigerator (freezer on top) model # 105.70967990, ser. # EJ412042, mfg. in 10-99 that has recently started intermittently collecting water in the left vegetable drawer and on the bottom of the refrigerator; it's happened twice in the last two weeks---one time the water was so high that it came out the door onto the floor. The refrigerator has an icemaker but it is not hooked up to a water supply. Any suggestions? Jim
Hi, You have a drain plugged in the frezer. Your model # doesn't come up but what you need to do is remove the rear anel in the freezer and clear the ice. If the floor of the freezer has two screws holding it, remove it as well.
Please check the model# again and I can assist you further. There is an after market deat transfer strip you might need to add to prevent this from reaccuring.
