There are four bolts on top, and four bolts on bottom.
At the Top, starting from the Left side, the bolts are numbered ->
6, 2, 3, and 7.
At the Bottom, starting from the Left side, the bolts are numbered ->
5, 1, 4, and 8.

Sequence for tightening, of course, is to go from 1 through 8.
The best way to torque engine head bolts, is to tighten in a three stage tightening sequence. The bolts are finally tightened to 33 Foot Pounds,
and an additional turn of 90 degrees. Not trying to insult your
intelligence in any way, but I would like the additional 90 degree turn,
to be clear.
There are 360 degrees in a circle. If you go halfway, you have gone 180
degrees. If you go one-fourth the way, you have gone 90 degrees.
When you are getting ready to torque this final 90 degree turn, look to
make sure the end of your torque wrench has a clear path, so that you
will not be stopped somewhere along the way.

I advise torquing the head bolts to 15 lbs first. Then 25, then 33. Then go back one more time, for the additional 90 degree turn. Seems like a lot of hassle, but it's easy to warp this head. Remember, if you are not using some type of permatorque head gasket that has teflon, Like a Felpro Blue for example), after the engine has reached operating temperature Once, you have to go back, and retorque the head.

The torque is 44 ft lbs+ 95 degrees. You will have to replace all the head bolts/ one time use only. Working from the center out tighten all to 44 ft lbs. Then from center out again go anothre 95 degrees. Good Luck
