Loud noise in freezer

posted by rogerhalcomb on Oct 16, 2007

I have had this fridge about 3~4yrs and it started to make a loud noise about a month ago.  The noise appears to be in the Freezer comartment, the noise sounds like a fan blade loose.

I'm not sure but I think it may be in the defrost cycle when this happens.  I started making this noise this past Saturday and I turned the freezer off, it stopped and didn' start again.  Any ideals?
